Free airport shuttles?

Just wondering if any Disney hotel or off-property hotels offers any kind of transportation to and from the airport? Just trying to anticipate the total cost of this vacation and don't want to forget anything. Seems like $ can add up in a hurry when going to WDW.

I believe the only ones who offer free shuttles are the ones close to the airport.

If you are staying at a Disney resort & want to save a few bucks, Mears is the shuttle to use. I think the pp rate is around $27 RT.

We always use a private towncar service.

Disney does not offer free shuttles. The "official" transportation company for WDW is Mears and they offer shuttle service (I think the cost is around $80 for a family of 4 round-trip) to and from the airport. I don't know about the off-site hotels, but I doubt that they do either. I think some of the reasons include the volume of traffic they would have to cover and the distance between the airport and WDW.

Mears is only the most economical if you are travelling in a party of 1 or 2. You can about break even with 3 and come out ahead if there are 4 or more of you using a towncar service and often, depending on your length of stay renting a car is cheaper or just as cost effective as either Mears or the town car and then you have wheels while you are there (not really necessary, but quite handy).

We liked rapid rover if you have more than 4 it really saves money plus you get a stop at a grocery store. I think RT was $85 for up to 10.
