Regular price of a 1-Day child's ticket is $60 plus tax ($63.90 with tax), so you save almost $5 on a child's ticket.

Please note: it's probable these tickets will be issued as "complimentary" 1-Day/1-Park tickets, in which case they cannot be upgraded in any way (i.e., you almost certainly won't be able to add the Park Hopper option or upgrade to a multi-day ticket). For that reason, if taking advantage of this promotion, be sure that you only need one-day tickets and that you only plan to visit one park per day.

You can donate and get your free ticket(s) online. Click this link to go to the Florida Hospital Foundation web site, and then click the button on the lower right that reads "Disney Tickets - Rewards Available." A new window will pop up with the donation form.

The online donation form is a little confusing. It automatically assumes you are making one donation of $59 and getting one ticket. If you want more than one ticket, type in the number of ADDITIONAL tickets you want, not the total number of tickets you need. (So if you need 4 tickets total, type 3 in the box.) They accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Tickets will be mailed to you.

This offer is also available at all Florida Hospital retail locations.

Presumably this promotion is offered for a limited time, but I'm not sure when it expires.

Thank you thank you thank you! Our oldest son was going to fly in the day before our cruise since I didn't want to spend $72 for a one day ticket. I can stomach paying $59 since it's a donation to such a worthy cause!!! Now we can fly him in on Friday and he can get one park day in!

You'll have to assume that these tickets are non-upgradable unless someone says otherwise.

Non-upgradable one or two day tickets have dubious value on a vacation greater than three days since they may end up taking just two dollars per day off of your ticket budget.

Passes are good for one-day admission to one of Disney's four Florida theme parks and are not upgradeable. Passes will be sent the next business day after a donation has been received. If you would like to receive your reward passes within 2-3 business days please select the $15 express shipping option on the donation form to help us cover shipping and handling costs. Passes will expire on December 30, 2010. 100% of each $59 donation will benefit Florida Children's Hospital. Due to the value of the rewards, donations are not tax deductible. I ordered 8 tickets yesterday and spoke with the foundation. They were so helpful on the phone and said that my tickets will be sent today via
Fed Ex.

I'll post when I receive them in case anyone is unsure of using this method.

I just think it is great good for everyone involved especially the children that will benefit.

Just a word of tax advice.

You are not making a tax deductible donation to Florida Hospital since the fair market value of what you are receiving as a premium is equal to or greater than the amount of the payment.

Only if the amount you pay is greater than the fair market value do you get a contribution deduction, and then only for the amount of the difference.

Even though Disney probably donated the tickets to Florida Hospital Foundation (and gets a tax deduction for it), and the tickets cannot be upgraded in any way, they still have a fair market value of $71.00.
