This is a really strange question, but does anyone have freckles on the palm of their hand? My DD9 has one, and only one, on the palm of her hand. Having many freckles myself, I've never seen one on the palm of a hand. Anyone?

I have a light colored mole on the palm of one of my hands. Not a freckle which I believe is caused by the sun??

Not on the hand, but my DD has one on the bottom of her foot!

She thinks it's cool, since no one else has one.

Uh oh, AboutTheMouse, don't tell your daughter, but I have one on the bottom of my right foot, right in the middle of my arch! :o :p

I only have two freckles on my face, one under my right eye (almost looks like one of those tatooed tears) and one on the left side, under my lower lip. :) I have tons of freckles on my chest, my arms and my belly though. :)

Not on the palm of my hand but I do have one on my index finger!!

My youngest also has one on the bottom of his foot. I even know when he got it, when he was a baby in the stroller and the bottoms of his feet were exposed to the sun! Yes, I used sunscreen, but he still got the one freckle. He thinks it's cool.

I have a small one on the palm of one hand. I was cleaning a contact lens in front of the optrician and she thought I had debris on my hand. :p

They are not uncommon. I used to see them fairly often when I worked with children. Always called it a freckle, although it is probably not one. Freckle is just a nicer word than mole :-)

ahhh if freckles was my only problem :(

I have a freckle on the palm of my hand. I also have one between my first two fingers on my left hand.

I have one on the palm of my left hand and another on the side of the 2nd toe on my right foot. I know TMI.

I have what I thought was a freckle but the doctor said it was a mole and to keep an eye on it since those flat ones can turn cancerous.

Any freckle or mole on your hands and feet should be checked by a Dermatoligist ASAP. Your extremities are a common place for melanoma to develop. A Dermatoligist can track your moles or freckles to see if there is any change in them. This is very serious!!!

On my left hand on my Pinkie finger, it looks like a Splinter. It is very light now, but used to be darker.:p

I've had one on my right hand near my thumb since I was a baby.
the nuns used to call it the devil's mark ;)
