Ditto on Mad as a Hatter!! The Strawberry is adorable (the hat is cute too...:rotfl: ) :goodvibes .

I can't believe its been 2 days since any of us has check in. We all must be out enjoying this summer weather. My DH decided to take up cycling last week and now has dragged me into it. I have liked 40 miles in the past 3 days a now all I need is a nice ice cold mommie smoothie with extra tequila:rotfl2: I also went yard selling and was about to get a bike rack that holds 3 bikes for $20. Hope all is well with everyone. Kellie I hope you are feeling ok after Fridays Doc visit.

I have been surviving the heat wave this weekend. Yesterday we had (another) car wash for the local teen center. This time I actually got my car washed :cool1: . Today I caught up on yard work :confused3 in the heat. Not much fun but at least the grass is cut now. Who else is around tonight?

Hi girls just checking in real fast this morning- I need to comment on so many things here- I don't want my freaps to think I forgot about you all!!!

I will be back later- when I catch up a little at work!!

I am wilting!!! It is soooo hot. My lunch lady gig is no fun when it's hot out :( . Now I am debating if I should finish mowing my yard, or wait 'till later and hope there are no thunderstorms. :confused3 . Will one of my fellow freaps please enjoy a frozen concoction in my name :thumbsup2 ?

Hi, all! :wizard:

We_Love_Disney, how are you feeling this week?

Kellie, are you hanging in there? We're still counting down! ;)

Where's Tinkerbean? :confused3

Alesia, I loved the strawberry hat...how cute!! Reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake! :3dglasses I also vote for "Mad as a Hatter Designs". I also have a suggestion: you might check with your state and see if anyone else has that business name registered. It might save you some headache later. :goodvibes

Theresa, will you force one down for me, too? :rotfl:

I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend....and didn't melt away if you are in the heat. :sunny:

It has been in the 40s and 50s with rain this past week and we are expecting snow now. We saw on tv, this weekend, tho', that the weather has been in the 90's in the east. :scared1: I don't know if we are actually going to have a summer this year! :worried: I am sure vacationers from other parts of the country are enjoying our cooler weather for the short time they visit. :hyper:

I didn't acknowledge everybody cheering me on for having my colonoscopy like I should have. :flower3: DH went through his colonoscopy last week and the doctor found 3 small polyps which he removed during the procedure. DH is bad about going to the doctor for checkups. The main reason I think he went through this one was because we had met our insurance deductible (with the knee surgery) and the $850.00 price tag would be paid.

Whatever his reasoning, I am glad he did it. What a relief off both our minds to know that we are colon healthy.

I want to again encourage any of our FREAP friends to go through this procedure if it is recommended to you. It was not uncomfortable and is worth it, no matter who is paying the bill. And thanks to all for celebrating with me at my own good health! :yay:

One last thought: Has everyone heard the national warning about raw tomatoes? I didn't realize the warning had gone nationwide until I ordered a hamburger today.

Haven't heard a thing. Tell me more...popcorn::

For all those that need a drink I will gladly have one for you.:rotfl2: I melted my butt of this week and I am glad to see a small break. I sure hope you get a summer at least a small one.:)

I'm sitting in my air conditioning watching Sweeney Todd. Helena is making cockroach pies  .

mtblujeans-Glad ya'll have clean colons now!:thumbsup2 I am soooo jealous of your weather. It has been insanely hot here the past week. We normally don't even turn the a/c on until July but it's cranking right now. There goes the $40 electric bill from last month.:headache: I also had to have me a frosty drink earlier. Well....two if you want to get technical about it.:rotfl2: DH is out of town and the kids drove me to it.

I have been crazy busy making strawberry jam and freezing strawberries and trying to convince the weeds that taking over my garden is a BAD idea! And, of course, it's the time of year when there are a thousand things going on every weekend.

WHERE are you that they are expecting SNOW  :scared1:

It has been in the 90's and HUMID here in central MA......this is me :furious: and I'm not even angry  I was able to convince DH to get a new AC though so we are getting cooler as we speak :hyper: They are expecting the "heat wave" to break some time after tomorrow evening....figures we have a baseball game tomorrow night :faint: I am going to cut up a fresh pineapple in the AM into chunks and throw them in the freezer, maybe some grapes too and I've been ziplocking some ice cubes to take with us too as well as plenty of water and other beverages......will I get in trouble for spiking my coke :rolleyes1

Strawberry hat is ADORABLE....my DD would absolutely LOVE one of those....I may be PM'ing you about some early Christmas shopping

Tomotoes...I saw that news report and heard something a few days about them....I don't eat them but my kids pop the grape ones like their candy! From what I understand it's the whole "regular" tomatoes - not the grape or cherry varieties but I'll probably stay away from them all for awhile just to be safe. It seems like every spring/summer some vegetable is having this crisis - last year spinach

I am up here:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

When my kids were younger, they drove me to a few cold ones too. Now that they are older, DH pushes me there. ;)

I would suggest you sip the "coke" slowly so you don't dance in front of everyone at the game tomorrow....they shouldn't be able to figure it out if you don't dance! :yay:

I have a small strawberry patch that has been overtaken with weeds and it has been too cold and wet to weed it. We don't have the veggie garden put in yet. On the plus side, the guys are so bored they have been helping me get projects done around the house that should have been done last winter. Better late than never, I always say! :bitelip:

:confused3 Twice in the last 2 weeks, my husband has mentioned that I should take up drinking.
