HEY, her dress matches the wall color. How cool. Love the wall color by the way and the hat & scarf are not quite as darling as your DD.

I never noticed it, but your right, her nightgown is a perfect match with the wall. I love, love, LOVE how that wall turned out.

Those sets are very nice. Carly is so cute. You should put them on ebay and sell them. I think you would do well.

I'm going to try to make a few sets in the next week or so and put them on ebay.

Alesia- Carly is adorable- she has beautful eyes! Is that her in your siggy when she was younger?

You know what else you can do with your hat and scarfs- sell them at local craft shows! They should start up soon in the spring and go through the fall- the shows get a lot of traffic! I know around here they do!

Make up some cards and maybe you can do custom orders!

I've been doing custom orders. Some of the teachers at Carly's school wanted some. I've sold 5 sets and made $85. Not a bad start...

Your crocheting is wonderful....you can see the even stitches even in the picture! Carly is such a beautiful girl....make sure she models all of your projects and they will sell like hotcakes!

Hi freaps. I'm in a funk today. We have had to cancel/postpone our free dining trip. After our scare over the possibility of DH losing his job we just decided that we should do a better job of getting our finances in order before doing any big trips. So who knows when we'll make it back? So now it's back to sticking with the budget board and meandering over to the CB to get into trouble every now and then.

I feel your pain.

We had a 10th anniversery/Carly's birthday trip planned for the first week of July. 2 days after we made our ADRs, we found out that my husband was getting his hours cut. We've rescheduled it for spring break next year.

Carly took it well. She realized that it would give her more time to save money for souvenirs. Honestly, I think she took it a whole lot better than I did.

Hi y'all. We just got back from the beach a little while ago, and I have to tell you about it! But first....madd, honey, I need you to sit down. And the rest of you gather around her for moral support...Everyone in place? OK..here goes...


I may or may not have seen Johnny Depp getting married just about an hour ago...probably not, but anyway...


We decided to make a quick run out to the beach this afternoon after we did all of our stuff. It was a gorgeous day-high 70's...so at about 3:00 we headed out..takes about 20 minutes to get there. We get to the outskirts of Tybee Island and we hit a wall of traffic. I am thinking construction, then DH blurts out..."I wonder if this is the night Johnny Depp is getting married here?" HUH!!??? I say, WTH are you talking about? He said that some of his students were talking about it...So as we creeep along in traffic, I am wondering if every car with blacked out windows is the wedding party, will they be married right there on the public beach for all to see, private beach area, what, what what????


We finally get to the parking lot after snaking back and forth along all the detours for the construction, which is obviously what the tie up was about...anyway, I saw someone I knew in the parking lot and we talked about the traffic tie up and I mentioned JD...she says, "Oh, I thought that was supposed to be June 14?" So OK, it ain't happening today..great..

So we play in the sand, (well the boys played, I sat my big ole butt in my beach chair and read my new book which is hysterical BTW-"Stop Dressing Your Six-Year-Old Like a Skank") and at about 5:30, we pack up our stuff and leave. As we are driving past an old house that has this really nice Memory Garden, I look over in the back and YES, SOMEONE, SOMEONE, is getting married...and there is a police officer there watching over things...sooooooooo...

Tomorrow I will let you know if there is anything in the paper about this wedding, whoever it was....

I have been reading "again" that he was supposed to get married.

I am Googling right now for some up to date info- I did find this- it says what your friend already said-

Life & Style claims the wedding will take place in Georgia, so most of Johnny’s family can easily attend.

A Source said, “They wanted to make it convenient for Johnny’s family in Florida, so the wedding will likely take place in Georgia’s Tybee Island. They’re going to send out invitations in a few weeks.”

I will go out and check some of "sources" and get back to you all-

BTW- This will NOT stop my obsession- "married SHMarried"!

Glad to hear he has not gotten married yet. So there is still a chance for you to break that up.
