Nope, no chiro with a bulging disc, Madd! Do you know, yet, where the bulge is located?

Just got back from the docs- she also said "no" to the chiro until she sees the films and reads the report. Not sure where the bulge is...hee hee You said bulge.....

She said she would rather I go to physical therapy than a chiro. She wrote me out a script for stronger Motrin- 800mgs, more percocet and some a muscle relaxer (forget the name and I still have to go pick it up at the pharmacy)

I told her my left leg keeps giving out- right before I left for the docs- I was walking downstairs, I was on the last step and stepped down on my bad leg and I went down on my knees I told her I was cracking up all by myself Me and my doc were laughing, like she said, what else can you do but laugh

Just checked and our radiologist STILL did not read my report

HA! I forgot to mention what I found in the mail when I got back from vacation in pain-- A NOTICE FOR JURY DUTY! They want me to sit there for a few days and be on a jury.....NOT! I took it to the doc with me and she wrote me a note to excuse me.

Madd - were you on a cruise? Or did you just stay in Cancun and Cabo?

Cancun has a beautiful ocean but it's too touristy for me. I went there for my honeymoon.

I was an hour and a half away from Cancun- at an all inclusive in Riviera Maya- I have been to Cancun twice- I LOVE it there. DH and I are not club goers,- I do, however, love the one shopping plaza called La Isla! OMG! It is my favorite! Has anyone ever been? It is beautiful!


What I want to know is, HOW IS KELLIE!!? My back pain is so trivial compared to what you are going through. I hope you are feeling OK!

This is what the 'greenery' looked like as we drove across the Baja peninsula:

Which has its own beauty, but the whole area of Cabo San Lucas (what we saw on our excursion) looked like that. Not nearly what you saw on your trip.

Was there a drought at the time???

I know when we lived in St John- if there was no rain for quite some time- it really made the island look very "dismal"-- but as soon as the rain came- everything went back to beautiful green!

OMG- I am a bit loopy on my new muscle relaxers so please forgive me if you do not find this funny---

I like to do a bit of reserach before I take meds, so I Googled my new muscle relaxer- Zanaflex, my doc said ONLY take half until you see how you react- my goodness- I think I might have to take a 1/4 next time! I need to go beddy byes!

Anywho..... This sentence was in the drug warning:
In some situations, it may endanger your physical safety to be in a state of reduced muscle tone.

IS IT ME? That is funny!

It actually was the "dry season" (January). Our excursion guide told us that in the "rainy season" (June) the whole place floods with the downpours and they can have hurricanes during that tropical season, too. It looks like it is either floods or drought....maybe no in-between.

I am fine. Thanks for asking. It has been a little crazy. DH got laid off last week. I think it everything like this happens for a reason. I am ready for Friday (well as ready as I can be). I am trying to get ahead on some stuff at work just in case I need to be out for any amount of time. My plan is to go back on Tuesday or Wensday. The Dr said that should be out as long as I behave. So DH John told them that will never happen.

I hope you back gets better soon. I like the warning on your meds.

I think your DH was laid off so he can spend more time taking care of you- like you said- everything happens for a reason!

no, the one about muscle relaxers making you loopy..DH hurt his neck twice, first time about 20 years ago, last time about 10 years ago. He is quite experienced in the area of muscle relaxers.
