DH called- he went to the docs- the doc gave him an antibiotic, nasal spray and a decongestant.

Hopefully he feels better before Saturday.

Don't let him near you until you get to Mexico...

okay hadley you asked the hangover ? Let me admit I am still hung over.
My boss laughed at me all day. He did finally ask me before lunch if I want to go get something to eat and if I want to get some of the hair of the dog that bite me last night. I had to pass. If I went I would have passed out.
I should be great at the DRS tonight.

Glad you made it through the day and lots to keep you occupied. I said prayers for you last night, and thought about you all day..and your poor, poor DH. I feel bad for him, how did he do today? (I am not worried about you, you are a ROCK...it's those poor men, they are so weak...)

and that is one of the lucky ones that CAN buy theirs...a lot of seniors have to chose between meds and food. It is a very sad state of affairs we are in as far as insurance goes..It's downright shameful we can't take care of our own. We seem to manage to take care of a lot of others..

One time I had a patient call me, she was elderly, about a bill from us that she received. She had Medicare, Medicare paid their portion- however, she had a copay and no secondary insurance. She was telling me she cannot afford food etc- I almost started crying and I told her I would write off her balance!!!

ugh- I have to go and pack! You would think I would be excited about it- but my head is never screwed on straight and to me, packing is like spinning my wheels and getting nowhere! Maybe I should take my Ritalin before attempting to pack! But then I will be up all night.

I know- I will have some champagne, and then I can care less what the heck I pack until I open up my suitcase when I get to Mexico! Nothing will match!


I will be thinking of you tonight Kellie!

Thank -you. He did okay. I must have gotten 50 emails from him today asking me if I was okay. He is so lost. But he will do fine. I did speak to my dr on the way home and he did tell me they need me to go to see a surgeon. He is not happy with what they saw and already had two other drs check the mamogram and they feel the same way.
I told him he get to infrom hubby of that.

I tried Googling why it is derogatory, Wikipedia does not give much of an explanation- but I found this

Frog as a derogatory term for "Frenchman" dates from 1778 (short for frog-eater), but before that it meant "Dutch person," in reference to the marshy land where they lived.

Makes no sense, b/c they eat frogs??? But then again- most derogatory words are made up by pea-brains anyway.

Then why don't they call them GRENOUILLES???

OMG, you guys are Hilarious!!

Maybe you should try 'dispensing' the pill like you do to a horse.....push it up the side of the mouth, all the way back to the throat, then hold their jaws together until they swallow it! For one thing, they don't like having their nose held down. It might have something to do with not being able to breath real well (hint, hint).

Kellie, is that a 'good thing' that whatever they see might be corrected with surgery?

And, finally, keeping with the theme of the day: I saw a t-shirt at a shop at the mall that said "If a man speaks in middle of the forest, and a woman is not around to hear it, is he still wrong?" I am soooooo sorry but I laughed all the way out to my car!
