HEY,
We just got back. I need to see the surgeon. They will have everything all booked hopefully by the end of the day friday. Hubby lost it. I am okay I keep telling hubby I will not die on him I do not want to see any chance of him being happy John found that not funny at all.My DR and his nurse cracked up. It took him a little bit to calm down. No he will hover over me.
I thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers please keep them coming.

I will let John he can check in here for a couple of laughs. But if you stop the husband bashing he will not feel the love.

Thank you so much for thinking of us and getting back to us so soon! It sounds like your doctor is on top of everything. Please let us know as soon as you find out how long you will be in the hospital. I suppose I am being too demanding but, darn it, I want to know!!

And, yes, you can leave DH with us! We'll keep him busy!!

Yes they say there is tumors. The only up side to it is if they are the same as 15 years ago I should be fine. They just seem worried because I have a breast cancer histroy and my family history is not good.
I guess we will do this step by step again.

Kellie, I'm so sorry you are going to have to go through surgery again. I'm glad your doctor is a mover! You are SO upbeat, I am betting you hold it together for you AND your DH. Please keep us posted, we will keep the prayers and good thoughts coming. We are here for cyber hand holding...

Ok, so the DR's office finally authorized a refill on DH's script. Walgreen's called at about 8:00 to say it was ready. I went to pick it up, brought it in to DH and said this..."Oh, look...the Dr's office put a message on this ...they must have faxed it over to Walgreen's. It says, 'Dr. Mr B...Please don't be so stupid this time..' ".... Even DH had to laugh at that one..then he reminds me that the meds had been making him sick....AAARRRGGGHHH!!! Why didn't you tell me to ask for a different one??? I tell ya, I'm gonna have to hurt him one of these days..

Grouphug, grouphug, sounds like we all need one!

We are all pulling for you and sending lots of well wishes/pixie dust! Keep your chin up and try to stay positive. Things like this really put things in perspective about what is really important in ones life. The wash, shopping, DH leaving the toilet seat up, the jerk who cut you off in the parking lot, etc. are miniscule (sp?) in comparison to having a husband who is by your side in "sickness and health". You have 1 heck of a hubby there and you should be proud of him! (so should he). If you ever need anything, there are alot of us here who will do whatever we can for you and your family.

ugh= I have been up most of the night b/c DH is coughing so much- I am giving him cough medicine but when it wears off- we are both up.

His sickness has now progressed- he has a fever! I am feeding him tylenol and juicy juice. He is bundled under a mound of blankets and is not even going to work today For DH THAT is a big deal- he rarely takes off work--

I wish I would have got the trip cancellation insurance- DARN I always get it- but this time I didn't! He said he WILL be better in 48 hours for the trip.

The only thing I am worried about is DH on the plane- spreading his germs to others! At least when we get there he can just lay on the beach and sleep all day under a straw hut or something.

I hate planes, they are like "flying perti dishes" filled with germs and bacteria *shudders*

You live in one of the best states for medical care, so you are in very good hands as far as that goes. Keep your chin up, stay positive, and we'll all be thinking and praying for you. Besides you have the Patriots in the Superbowl to keep your mind busy....lol

His meds should start to kick in pretty soon...in the meantime...STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! If he needs something, throw it to him from across the room. It would be ironic if you caught it now and he got better in time, and it ended up being YOU that is the sicky when it's time to board...
