I got that cake email awhile back too. Too funny! I always order dd b-day cakes from there b/c they taste pretty good and are pretty cheap! But you never know how the words will turn out. I usually just take the pad from them & write it myself. My dh name is Mac but no one ever hears that correctly - it is either Max or Matt or dumba** (oh wait, that's what I call him)....

No- really, that place does scare me! I try and avoid it at ALL costs! I feel as thought I am on another planet when I am there

Oh wait-- yes there is. I know FREAPS will understand. I ate the Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Mac Single for lunch today. Not the best thing I've ever tasted. But then not the worst, either.

And guess what my afternoon snack will be?? If you guess the Betty Crocker-- mini dessert sample-- you guessed right.

So FREE lunch and snack for me Shoulda made free coffee this morning

Ok, here are the pics from my trip to Disney of my DS. His uncle (the one next to him) talked him into big kid rides. The first went well:

Let me add, that no children were harmed in the making of these photos, although we have to wait 6 months for an official post traumatic stress disorder diagnosis, according to the DSM-IV

And my DH plans out what we are going to do for each picture on a ride- so the couple looking scared on Splash Mountain (it's staged) and cheesy on TOT (nope- just dumba** and his great ideas!)

Wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING.. I wont be lurking much the next two days. I am the cook this year. Lucky me

ugh! ME TOO! Mom just came over and asked if I took the turkey out to thaw the rest of the way....... What??? ooops- OK Turkey is out- she said to then rinse it off! WHAAAAAAT? Rinse it off, like WASH IT!? *bleck*

No, no, no- I did not sign up for this DH volunteered us this year. Mom was cracking up- she said when I get home from shopping I will be over to take care of it

We have had T'giving at our home before, but mom usually makes the turkey and brings it over. Now that she lives right next door- (that is why we put on the addition) she can walk right across the hall and do her majik!

Licensed clinical social worker (I say that proudly because those tests were a pain in the nether regions!!!). . .so some diagnosis, but more just follow up treatment.

Yes, that is me in the glasses, and in the tie dye middle row of TOT. I was inspired by Tinker's Wesley tie dye pictures, and made them for the whole family. My brother wore another shirt over them most of the day, which got the attention of a dream team member. Alas, no gifties, but a nice conversation with a funny dream team cast member.

My first attempt at cooking Thanksgiving dinner was for 12 teenage girls at a residential treatment facility. .IT STUNK UP THE WHOLE DORM when the gut bag started roasting. Who knew? Luckily there was a better staff cook in another dorm, so they sent over some food.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I received the Merci Chocolates today - two boxes! This was the one were you had to nominate someone to say Thank You.

I haven't tasted them yet but I'm so looking forward to it.

Circut city in our area advertised a 2day sale, for a Compaq Presario C717NR 17'' laptop computer for $299. GREAT PRICE RIGHT? Well true to form for Cirtuit City, they didn't have any in stock, and claimed it was limited quantities, which no where on the web page did it indicate that. They won't give rainchecks, or substitute items, and it could not be purchased online. When I went in, they were giving attitude to another customer who had brought in the ad - they couldn't find where it said limited quantities. I asked about it being a 2 days sale and the two sales people looked at me like I was an alien. Why call it a two day sale if there weren't enough to get thru the morning? ARGH. I get so mad when stores do crap like that. I got home and called, and there was a LONG list of items that they apparently didn't have enough of, and were not going to substitute for. Classic bait and switch. I refuse to do any business with them again.

I was in line this morning at 4:15 to get the 46'' Sharp Aquos TV with DH. There were a TON (ive never seen such a line) of people and a lot of them were in line for the laptop (you overhear people talking and asking what everyone else is in line for). They didnt tell people until just before the doors opened that all the vouchers for the laptops had been given out (I think they only had 20 vouchers they said).... so therefore all the laptops had been promised and everyone else was waisting their time. I felt terrible for the people who had been in the cold for hours... and could have headed to Best Buy or somewhere else for the next cheapest laptop. I guess thats the way Black Friday is sometimes. It really stinks though. I hate that you cant order stuff online.

They need to have that stuff online or over the phone and there be 'virtual lines' that you wait in... atleast then you dont freeze yourself half to death and get elbowed 100 times only to figure out it wasnt even worth leaving the bed over. LOL.
