I just got an email from Disney that I have not been chosen to join the WDW Mom's Panel! Double ARG!

Ditto here I hope some fellow freaps got picked!

On behalf of all of us at Walt Disney World Resort®, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to apply for the first-ever Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

We realize it's no easy task just keeping a family moving every day, so we appreciate all the effort you put into your application. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the response we saw and very humbled by the heartwarming stories we read in each of the applications.

With 10,000 moms (and dads!) applying, we had a difficult time narrowing the field to the next round. We personally read every application submitted. While you were not among those selected, we are very grateful that you took the time to enter and share your love for Walt Disney World Resort®.

Because of the incredible passion you and so many others have shown for Walt Disney World Resort®, we've been inspired to explore more concepts for programs -- beyond the Moms Panel -- to engage moms and dads like you who want to share their passion for the Parks. We plan to follow up with you in the near future with more details.

Meanwhile, the Walt Disney World Moms Panel site, www.disneyworldmoms.com, officially launches in January. We hope you'll find the site a useful tool for you and other parents, too.

Good morning FREAPS!!! I had to go check out the photopass controversy. I just couldn't resist. It seems the Dis "moral minority" was out in force. I think we should consider ourselves lucky that "he who rhymes with my friend flicker" has never found us on the freebie board. I'm sure he would have some interesting statistic on exactly how much money poor Walmart has lost by me ordering samples in mine and DH's name. And he would let us know how we are all jeapordizing the future of freebies by abusing the corporations. And he would be really upset over parents ordering freebies meant for children!

You can still add the Gray Area comment- I think it would fit!

Yesterday I just moved everything to the left- squished it all together, made all of my fonts the smallest they can be and undid the BOLD- I had to remove my pumpkins but it seems everything looks OK.

WebmasterCricket touched my Johnny and made him smaller It was NOT me! I prefer him larger- I may have to play around with him and see what I can do!

ETA- I like the gray area comment- mind if I add that to mine!- I also like to "live outside the box" too!

I agree, Moral MINORITY hits it right on the head. More people disagree with them, but are afraid to step up and say anything...otherwise they are accused of having a "moral compass that points to the thing you want most"... Good one...I watch Judge Judy, too, but I don't quote her in public!!!

They are bullies, plain and simple. The OP opened the thread looking for help and compassion, and they had to jump in on their high horse and kick her when she was down. They just highjacked the thread for their own meaness. And when Beth told them for the umpteenth time to drop it..they still carried on like a chatty bunch of little kids...totally ignoring her. I'm glad someone was able to post that the OP's problems were fixed before it shut down so those of us who actually cared would know.

And I agree, they may come over here and accuse us of takin' all the freebies for ourselves...so be it..

Thanks to all who post freebies. The last 2 days have been freebie jackpot day for me. DH and I leave on Monday for Disney and now thanks to all the freebies I have gotten in the mail I have no need to buy toothpaste, shampoo,cond., hand cream, body lotion, soaps, razors or anything else I had left on my list to buy. Now if somebody could post a link to a freebie of a suite case full of money life would be grand. . You guys are the best. And just to let you know DD and all her college dorm pals are now in on this freebie stuff. They love racing to their mail boxes and see what is there today.

Freaking ridiculous that there are 15 pages of what?!?! Madd appears to be the only coherent thinker. I am pretty sure one of the posters has multiple personality disorder (oops, sorry all you (and you, and you) folks with MPD, not meaning to offend).

Although I try to be aware of how I say things so as to not be INTENTIONALLY hurtful, I am also of the opinion that people also need to learn to cope with things that may be hurtful to them. I was one of 2 white families in a 2 block area in Washington DC in my youth, and I was called Casper the Friendly Ghost more times than I can count. Now I would like to believe they were just commenting on my milky white Irish complexion, but lets be realistic as to what the true meaning is. Am I scarred for life, go into post traumatic stress induced states of madness whenever I hear "Casper the friendly ghost, the friendliest ghost you know"?. . . .well now that you mention it. . . .

Please. Go Madd, you have some support over here.
