Frances, Aventura? Sunny Isles? hallendale? bal Harbour?

We have a small condo on sunny Isles beach,. I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of damage has occured in that area? The condo is on A1A (Collins ave) right on the beach in an older condo building. No one that lives there has been able to get back there yet.
We are on the 1st floor, so I was wondering about flooding. any info appreciated.

I was watching the simulcast feed of Channel 4 up here in Atlanta, and they showed Sunny Isles a few times, but never did pan around to show any damage. Very windy(obviously), and heavy rain, the palms were bending. The surf was quite strong and I'm sure there will be alot of beach erosion from this storm. That's a shame because there's not much beach up and down that area anyway.

I felt a little homesick watching the newscast, Bryan Norcross is a fantastic meteorologist and was probably the only "bright spot" during Hurricane Andrew.

Thanks Pam. I still haven't heard anything but then again I haven't had a phone or power for a few hours. The power just came on & so did the phone. Thought I'd jump online quickly! LOL
It's killing me not to know. I would assume they will be letting people back on the beach areas soon.
