Framed Pin Set Question

I recently purchased the 6 piece Tapestry of Nations Framed Pin Set from a seller on ebay. This was my first framed pin set purchase. After I received it, I was shocked that the frame was enclosed with plexiglass (seems cheap), but the seller claims all Disney pin sets are enclosed with plexiglass and that, "Disney doesn't use glass."

Is that true?

I thought she had perhaps broken the glass, replaced it with plexi, and was trying to sell it as new.

I appreciate the input from anyone who owns/has owned framed Disney pin sets and knows whether plexiglass or glass is used.

I have 2 Jessica sets at home, I think they are glass.....99% sure. I'll double check tonight when I get home and if they are not glass I will let you know.

That is the set. I wish the description included whether it was glass or plexi.

I just checked my set at home and it is plexiglas (Figment World). Based on the other answer, it looks like it might vary by set.
