Fragrances

I thought for sure that lilacs were my most favorite fragrance, but now the lily of the valley scent is! I picked just a few for a vase, and when we came down this morning the whole downstairs of the house smells heavenly.

hmmm, lilacs and Lily of the valley...2 of my favorites!!!!! it will be another few days before I will have some to bring in thoguh. glad youa re enjoying yours.

My very favorite fragrance is the David Austin rose Graham Thomas. It isn't what you would think of as a standard rose smell. It is a sort of spicy fragrance. Can't wait for mine to bloom.

Like Vanessa, my lilacs and lily of the valley are a little ways from blooming yet. My LOTV has never really amounted to much though. I think I mentioned last year that my pips seem to lack passion!

I love their fragrance, roses too! I've often heard that orange blossoms smell divine, but haven't experienced that pleasure myself.

Carlissi viburnum is the sweetest scent in the world. I just adore it!

I love lilac by DH hates it and when I bring it into the house.....he complains. I tell him to go sleep in the backyard!

My bud, Snowwark, gave me a LOTV bud vase. We're getting closer and closer to using it! YAY!!!

My sister visited us this weekend, all the way from New Jersey. Most of the visiting we do is we Ohio folks do the traveling, so this was a real treat.

Our "so sweet story" is that I had picked the lilies of the valley for her room, and as she came into the terminal, SHE was clutching a Ziploc bag full of lilies of the valley for ME! Her bunch at home came from me which in turn came from one of my friends. But there you go, another lily of the valley story!

I use a small depression blue vase from my grandmother to keep the LoTV in.

Yet another LOTV story.....

I was working in the yarden this afternoon, and I could smell LOTV. Now, I don't have much of it, and the flowers have just formed, but not bloomed. I was thinking....wow, that's amazing, the fragrance is so strong!! A minute or two later, it dawned on me...it was from the dryer vent, and the LOTV fragrance dryer sheets.
