Personally, I'm not a fan of RFC - its just regular, chain restaurant food. There's a new TS restaurant at AK, Yak & Yeti, that's been getting good reviews, or any of the TS restaurants at AKL resort, like Jiko or Boma. We've got ADR's at both Yak & Yeti and Jiko for our upcoming trip, but both are new to us, so I'm going just off the reviews.

Which day are you going to the AK, Wednesday or Thursday? On your schedule you mentioned Wednesday but today said Thursday.

I always find planing a meal around Animal Kingdom challenging. Due to the park hours and small number of TS places it can become difficult. Since the park closes at 5 we normally go someplace that isn't close to a park on that night. This year we are doing Spoodles. This way we have nothing scheduled at night and it isn't a big production trying to either get back to the hotel or end up having to rush to see one of the night time shows.

One thing I thought maybe you can do is for your table service try the Tusker House Lunch. Then for dinner go to Downtown Disney (take the bus from AK to SSR and walk over) and use your counter service credits there. I saw the new menu for Wolfgang Puck's Express and it looks great. Then after you are finished you can take the boat back to POR.

Ok well a lot has happened today. First I had my DW call early this morning and get everything set. We got ever place we wanted to eat and every time we wanted. So I got home and we got to talking and decided to see if they would let us just add 2 nights to our reservation. So I called and spoke to a very nice lady. GOOD NEWS...she was able to add 2 nights AND get us the free dining for the 2 nights. SO this means we do not have to switch to a Value resort on Thursday. WOOHOOO. So anyway. Here is our update park and meal schedule.

My brother went a couple years ago and that was one of his and his wife's favorite places to eat. They said the food was really good and the place was "cool". And amazingly enough, when it comes to food, I would almost trust him! :lmao: Congrats on the two extra days! :thumbsup2

Sorry, no opinions on Planet Hollywood. Personally, it never really appealed to me for Disney. There are other ones of them around that I could visit. I feel the same way about the Rainforest Cafe. I'd rather do something else that is unique. Sure, someday I will get there but probably not at Disney. But that is just me.

Well my thoughts are , we are going to be tired saturday night, so I figure we could just hop on the boat and take it down to DTD. I dont know, we still have some time to plan.

Have you thought about Boatwrights over at POR? You could always walk over there and eat. I wanted to try it last year but it never worked out. After you are done you could still take the boat to DTD if you wanted to look around.

and here are some updated pics from easter. He is getting so big:sad:
