So we booked our FP's for our October honeymoon, but now I am questioning every pass I booked. This is our schedule, feel free to critique!

Day 1: MK and I booked
Thunder Mountain, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, and Splash (last 2 are in afternoon because it was all we could get).

Day 2: Epcot & HS split: Soarin, Mission Space, and Spaceship Earth. Picked the last one mostly because FH has never done it and we couldn't book TT. We are hopping over to HS that night, is there any chance we will be able to get passes for TOT, or Rockin Roller Coaster after our first 3 are used at Epcot?

Day 3: AK in the morning/afternoon, Universal HHH at night. Kilimanjaro safari, EE, and Navi.

Day 4: MK all day for the Halloween party. Space Mountain, Peter Pan & 7DMT. I figure we can get on other rides like Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Pirates a little easier later in the day (I hope!!).

Day 5: HS & AK split: TOT, Start Tours and Muppets 3D (for me because I can't do Star Tours!). I couldn't book a third because we have lunch at Boathouse that afternoon. Is is feasible to get a safari around sunset or is that unrealistic? It's something I really want to do and will swap FP's from HS to AK if I should. We plan on trying for EE, Dinosaur and Kali as well.

Day 6: Epcot: Soarin, and Mission Space. There really isn't another one we want to do other than TT and we can't book that in the same window as Soarin. We have dinner at the Grand Floridian that night so Epcot might be the only park that day.

I see people picking FP's for the popular rides again and again and not wanting to miss out I did the same with a couple of them, but is this a mistake? We really want to see Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and some of the other non-thrill rides, should I change some of our passes to include them or is it a safe bet that we will be able to get on without an outrageous wait?

No, it' s not a mistake.

It's smart to line up the difficult-to-get FPs and then if you decide later you want to switch out to one of the less popular ones, you will be able to do so. It's very tough to go the other direction, however.

Rides like Pirates and Haunted Mansion can get waits of 30 minutes or more by the mid-afternoon, but you are very likely to be able to get them as 4th+ FPs after you use your first three. It's a good plan at MK to use your first three early to be able to obtain 4th+ FPs ASAP.

I think you’re worrying too much about the fastpasses. Read some of the “refresh” threads to get an idea about how easy it can be to pick up additional FPs for good rides throughout the day. Schedule your first three as early as you can and as close together as possible, then add more as your day goes along.

We were there a few weeks ago and were able to ride all of the headliners multiple times, and only waited in a standby line longer than 15 minutes once.

Also, just be aware that the lines on almost all of the big rides get shorter as the evening progresses. Keep in mind that posted waits are intentionally inflated at night to discourage late riders.

Day 1 looks great. You should be able to do Pirates and HM earlier in the day.
Day 2 looks good, but you might not get ToT and RnR, especially since they are both tier 2 and what most people would go for. It depends on if the Epcot or HS rides are more important to you. Spaceship Earth is always busy before FW opens, but you should be able to RD Soarin then Mission Space.
Day 3. Too bad you could not get FOP, but those would be my choices otherwise.
Day 4. You should be OK, and can also do rides during the party.
Day 5. You should be OK, You don’t need a FP for muppets. I would get the FP you want and just see Muppets.
Day 6. Why have Soarin for both Epcot days. TT goes down more and I would have a FP for that unless you want to do the single idea line.

Whatever you decide, have a great time. You can do lots of rides without FP, especially shows at HS and AK. You can also refresh once you are in the parks to try to move a FP up.

Thanks for commenting! Regarding Muppets, we are only in HS for 1/2 a day and RnR & Star Tours would make me sick so they are a no go for me, and the Toy Story rides are all out of FPs until the afternoon. We are also on a time crunch because we have reservations at Boathouse for lunch :-( As for Epcot, I think we will do the single rider for TT if we have time, it's not a big priority for us, but would be nice to ride if we can. For AK I tried like Hell for FOP but they didn't have anything until that night and we are at HHH that night. Boooooo. Have you been to the party? Are the lines for rides really shorter? I don't want to miss the parades and fireworks, but it would be so fun to ride the rides that late!

Thank you, I feel better! It is amazing how quickly the FPs go, I was so afraid I screwed up! lol
