Fpp problem

Tonight at midnight was my 60 day window to schedule fastpasses so there I was logged on ready to go....only problem is it won't let me select fpp for the first two days of our stay. Those two nights are at VGF on our points. The next 7 nights are a package with 9 day hoppers. Now I had anticipated this problem so I have called twice and was told twice that the tickets are linked to my account so there won't be a problem securing fastpasses for the entire trip. Except of course, there was. Frustrating. Hope they can fix it in the am.
Anyone have this issue?

It gets better. System won't recognize me as having park tickets until Aug 3 not the 1st which is when I check in.

Just had to change my hoppers to 7 days and buy 2 day tix to cover first 2 days.

Only cost me an extra 700!!!!

I just wish I had known earlier and I would've made the reservations differently.

At least it's better than standing at MK turnstiles and not being able to get in!

Why did you buy additional 2-day tickets?

Why didn't you just add 2 days to the 7-day tickets?
That would have only cost $20 per ticket, plus tax.

That's what I had originally. But I was told since the package part of trip has the tix attached, they would not be able to be used for the first two days when I am staying on points at VGF.

Originally of course when I booked I was told that the hoppers were on my account and I'd be able to use them throughout my trip.

Now I find out that's not true. The tix attached to package can only be used from package date which isn't what they told me when I booked.

The CM gave you BAD INFORMATION.

You absolutely CAN get and use your WDW Resort package tickets
up to 3 days BEFORE your resort package check-in date.

That bit of misinformation has cost you a LOT of money.

So sorry CM misinformation is so common.

Always ask very specific questions HERE before making a ticket-buying decision.

OMG I cannot believe it!!! I'm sick over this. I spoke to multiple CM's this am and no one knew how to fix it. The last person I spoke to said there's no way to fix it and I'd be standing at MK with no way to get in.

Our "planner" (aka my brother-in-law) logged in at midnight as well. Booked 7 of us FPP for Wishes, the parade and Anna & Elsa for our first day. Now the only thing showing is FPP for 2 of us for Wishes - nothing else that he booked for that day.

I am even more disappointed to tell you that the phone CM's are INSTRUCTED to tell you
that "package tickets can't be used early" even though the tickets actually CAN be.

Yes, I'm telling you that those CM's are TOLD to give out that bad information to guests who call.

There is a small possibility that when you get to WDW and explain what happened that you MIGHT
be able to get a refund on those 2-day tickets (there is VERY small chance of that, however.)

The OTHER thing to do is to NOT USE the new 2-day tickets at all on this trip, but just HOLD THEM
for a future WDW trip and THEN upgrade them at that time.

No money lost (just "held") and you might even be a little "ahead" as ticket
prices may have have gone up before your next trip.

That's unconscionable. I am in shock over this. If there is a way for me to cancel the tickets I just bought over phone, and I added back two more hopper days to my package, how would I go about getting those tickets for use the first two days? I'm sorry to be a pain but I'm nauseous that I just threw 700 bucks out the window.

Ok I could live with not using those 2 day tix and upgrading them at a later date. Thank you, you have been very helpful. I appreciate it. :)
