How long before a show's scheduled start time do they let the FP+ holders enter? How long before the show's scheduled start time do they let the standby people enter?

I'm trying to figure out how far in advance of each show I need to actually show up.

It varies due to different lengths (and the time between performances) of the shows in question.

Each FP+ will give you a window of time when to arrive.
For some "shows," some FP+ guests will arrive even earlier than the posted window.

15 mins I believe prior.

The shows were packed but certainly I didn't need to use a fast pass but I went over my allotment so I grabbed a few more if your going to use one definitely get it for Frozen Fun Sing a Long, and Finding Nemo those shows seemed to have the convience of the fast pass realized.

Have the best trip ever!

Thanks for the replies. I guess what I'm really trying to figure out is... if I have a FP+ for a show, what is the latest time I can realistically arrrive? Do I have to arrive the full 15 minutes early just because that's when the FP window opens, or can I push it to something closer to just 5 minutes?

Same Q for parades/fireworks, if anyone has any thoughts on that.

As with anything, the chances of a "better" location generally goes up the earlier you arrive.

Right. But what I'm trying to figure out is the latest I can arrive that I still get in before the standby crowd. There's really no sense in showing up 30 minutes ahead if getting there 10 minutes ahead is all it takes, for example.

Nemo for sure. We missed last year because the line was so long.

The FP+ window for FOTLK opens at 20 minutes before and closes at 10 minutes before the show, which begins on the hour. When we went in February, we arrived just before the window closed, and they were already letting in standby guests.

Thanks... this is exactly the type of information I was looking for.

Just be aware the PP's experience may not be yours. Timing questions such as yours can vary from day to day, show to show, and CM to CM.
