FP+ Touring Plan with Toddler

I'm starting to plan my days for our trip in Sept. and looking at our FP+ options. It will be me, DH, DS2.5 and DMIL. I know the big ticket FP options are the roller coaster style rides and of course the A&E m&g. Our son will not be tall enough for any of the E-ticket rides and he's a boy so princesses aren't big for him. I know I have to select three every day and don't want throwaways. 2 days in MK, 1 at the other three parks. I'm also going to try and get fp for both parades in the MK (on separate days). What rides will need a fp and which will be wastes of time? Thanks for any and all advice!!!
