We have always been a RD family but my kids are getting older and it's been a year since our last trip and I wonder if we are actually going to make it to all of the morning FPs I have booked for us. We are staying onsite but are inside the 30 day window, so FP availability is not so great now if I were to change. Do you think I would be better off changing to some afternoons/evenings now, even with limited availability, or should I just keep what I have and if we change plans that day just try to book FP one at a time in the afternoon?

Go to a few FPs, Modify just to see what is available. If a timeslot looks good, Select it.

That’s the purpose of pre-booking FPs - choosing what works best for your family. It’s better to change now than to end up without any usable FPs.

Thanks - we have never just flat-out missed FPs. If we did, would we still be eligible to get them one at a time later that day?

You can Modify, Cancel and rebook or just move on to FP#4. Moving on to #4 just gives you 1 at a time.

I usually start my fast passes at 10am. That way I have until 11 to get into the park. I think getting up at 9am on vacation isn’t terrible. 6am on the other hand .. lol
