FP+ Setting Realistic Expectations

Our FP window opens Friday. Ive only been to the World once 3 years ago so this whole process is new to me and I'm planning for 8 of us. We are staying off site and originally we picked this week because we thought it would be decent crowds.....now with what I've seen on the boards that is probably not going to be the case....although we did get all the dinning reservations we wanted so that gives me hope! Anyways, this is what we are hoping for, let me know if this is at all realistic...
HS: toy story, little mermaid, great movie ride
AK: safari, lion king, meet&greet(ladies/kids), everest (guys)
EP: soarin&space (guys), frozen&nemo (ladies/kids), and then I guess spaceship to use a third
MK Day 1: Peter pan, enchanted tales, Pooh
MK Day 2: jungle cruise, seven dwarfs, tinker bell (ladies/kids), space mountain (guys)

Can't do great movie ride and toy story as they are both tier 1

Frozen may or may not be doable-it can be extremely popular

Seven dwarves can be tough for that large a party especially if you go on a party day (Mickey's very merry Christmas party) since FP stop at 6:30 and those with just party tickets can also make FP late in the day. If you can't find 8 at the same time try breaking up into smaller groups and looking for overlapping times.

ETA out of curiosity I checked MDE. We have AP so I can look at FP availability up to 30 days out. Obviously FP opened 2.5 hrs ago but looking for just a party of 1 there were no Frozen FP 30 days out (or for 28 or 29 days from today). 7DMT had avail for 29 or 30 days out but not until after 10 pm and 28 days out has no availability even for 1. I'm guessing that must be a MVMCP day when FP ends at 6:30. Also you said your FP window opens Friday-unlike onsite guest you will have to book your FP 1 day at a time as you can only book 30 days out from the day of visit (when not staying onsite). Since you're offsite, it may be tough to get SDMT and FEA at 30 days out. The rest should be fine (other than tier 1 issue that PP pointed out).

I'm in the middle of booking our FP+ (today is day 2) for our offsite stay; we are a party of 11. So far, I've been able to get what I want, although not at the times I want. My 7DMT is late at night, which won't work for us, but I'm hoping to be able to switch it for an earlier time, or we'll just have to plan to do it at rope drop. I do anticipate it being difficult to get Frozen Ever After (I do that one on Wednesday this week), so that might be another rope drop.

So far, I have (and I didn't wake up at 7am to get any of these):
HS: Star Tours 9:30-10:30am, Frozen Sing-Along 2:00-2:15, and Toy Story 4:20-5:20
MK: Enchanted Tales 8:50-9:50am, Peter Pan 3:30-4:30, and 7D 10:45-11:45pm

Remember to try to break your group into smaller groups and get overlapping times! Like for me, I'm trying in groups of 5 & 6, and even groups of 2, to see if anything is available.

We are also staying offsite. One suggestion I have is to keep checking back if by chance you didn't get your first choice. I didn't get a SDMT until well after I made our initial booking. We managed to get just about everything we wanted, except Frozen and a second Peter Pan on our second MK day! We got one for our first at least! I was impressed that so much was available actually and our plan for those we didn't get fp+ is to hit them at rope drop!
