Has anyone scanned their FP+ and got to the end of the attraction to find, it not working.

Just curious, this happened to us this past June with FP- and Splash Mt. Right when we were about to load the ride went down, we waited about 20mins, it never came back up. So we excited the ride. We were about to go eat dinner and leave the park, so I didn't ask for anything and the CMs didn't offer.

But with the 3 FP+ limitations, I wonder how they will address this problem. Would you just be out of luck?

We were on TT the 19th and the whole system seemed to go down. *spoilers* right after that part where the do the dip and than swerve to miss the semi, the entire ride stopped and the lights went out, stopped their for maybe 2 mins. They gave as a "free" FP the physical medium I'm assuming they will do the same thing once all you have our are virtual fast passes.

They are not going to penalize you because an attraction went down.

They will send you an email stating you can have an anytime FP for that day at select attractions if the ride is down where you have a FP reservation.

I never even thought about what would happen in that situation. Good thing to know though. :scratchin

This happened to us twice during our 12/13 trip. Once at TT and once at Muppet 3D. Both times we were told that we would have to locate a cast member wearing a certain color shirt at certain park locations (none convenient at the time) to receive another FP!!! Very frustrating--especially since we had young children with us and didn't really want to wander around looking for that cast member!! Needless to say--we lost out on those 2 FP+ selections.

I haven't had that experience after scanning into a ride, no. But the other day we were on the way to BTMRR to use a FP+ for it when our phones buzzed with notifications from Disney stating the ride was closed, and we were allowed to pick a new FP+ attraction with no set return time. I thought that was pretty cool. :thumbsup2

Same thing happened today on the voyage of the little mermaid. Worked great! :cool1:
