FP+ reservations if APs will be expired?

We have a trip planned for late October. Our APs expire this August. Can we book FP+ for October using the APs that will be expired? We plan to buy new APs when we get there is October. Thanks for your thoughts!

You cannot book FP+ on expired AP's.

They have extended the RENEWAL DATE for AP's up to 60 days before the Anniversary Date,
so it is possible for AP holders to renew in time to make FP+ reservations.

ALSO… You can pre-purchase an AP (order the AP as "Will Call") and you can make FP+ reservations
with just that confirmation number. Then, activate the AP when you arrive.

We were in the exact same situation. Ours expire on Aug. 10 and we are going on the 17th. We called and renewed them over the phone and just put the will call number in to link the new APs to my MDE account. Had no problem making the FP+ after that.

Sorry, pretty late to this party. So my DD who has Fl resident AP can make FP+ ressies 60 days out EVEN if we aren't staying on site?

Thank you! This sounds like a good plan. I don't want to renew in August, as we plan to go this October and again next October with the APs. I will plan to pre-purchase new APs. Thanks again.

30 days out with no WDW Resort stay.
