FP+ reservations for a kid that changes his mind?

We are about 15 days off our FP+ window.
Last year DS was 4 yo but not tall enough to ride most rides.
He did 7DMT and declared it was the best ride, cried his heart out because he couldn't go to BMTR or splash.
We got some Mickey mail and started talking about going again, he will be 5 and 41 inches. I thought he will really exited to ride all the above mentioned rides. Nope!
He declared he is too small to ride rollercoasters and that they are too scary (maybe it was something I said last time?) He doesn't even want to ride 7DMT!
Should I get the FP+ anyway in case he changes his mind? There's no way we will do any of the big ticket items if we have to wait more than 25 minutes.

Get 7dmt. If anything you can change it the day of or a few days out to something different. I'd get it now because it's highly unlikely you'll get it real close to your date

Agree with the above...almost impossible to get it once you get there, especially for a very specific time. If he changes his mind, you can change your 7DMT FPs for whatever else may be available in-park.
