FP+ question

We will be at WDW for 7 nights but 5 days water parks & more tickets. Our plan is to do 3 full theme park days, a Universal day & 2 day water park days with a theme park in the evening. I know that's not an efficient use of theme park tickets but those days were essentially free due to a promo on tickets. I was able to book FP+ for 5 days. It wouldn't let me book more. I tried to really figure out which days we'd do a particular park. But, if for some reason (rain expectations) we decided to swap a water park day & theme park day, will I be able to cancel the FP+ and make reservations for a new day? I know that I may be limited as to what FP+ I can get at the point. I like the new system in some respects; but, I also don't like that it forces to plan so much of your trip 60 days in advance. I'd rather have a little more spontaneity.

Yes, you can cancel them and book for a different day. Like you said, you will just be limited on what you can get.
