FP+ question regarding dining reservation

I have a dining reservation that I'm not sure we'll keep. I was planning to wait until the date gets closer before deciding because I'm not exactly sure on our plans, but I'm wondering if when making FP+ reservations the system will automatically take that dining reservation into consideration and not give us FP+ times during that time frame?

It will still give them to you but will note the conflict. It won't prevent you from getting them.
