FP+ question, for a group of people.

Hello, So we are going in Dec. there are alot of us, about 23 in total. Several different families. We all set up our MDE, and then our on each other friends list. My question is does each family need to request their own fast pass, or can i go on and select FP+ for more than just the people in my family?

My fear is we all live in different states and would most likely request and get different time frames. Or would one of us have to have to manage all FP+ to get the same times.

Sorry if this is confusing but i am new to all this FP+/MDE thing and it can get confusing.

Yes, most of them, still have to add two more. On MDE i can see their reservation numbers and everything.

I think you need to be in the same "party" in order to make selections for the group. I don't know if you managed to get the same party or if you are just listed as friends. If that's what you want to do you probably need to contact Disney IT to make it work this way.

If you and the other families want to be in control of your own FP+ then you'll need to coordinate your selections.

Maybe there is an easier way to do this that I don't know about.

I am meeting my sister and her kids at MK for a day. She actually just made our FP reservations this morning. She was able to make them for me since we linked as friends on our MDE accounts... but she wasn't able to see and make FP+ for my DD(6). I just copied mine to my DD once my sister made our selections. So it was pretty easy.

If everyone is linked as friends and everyone has tickets linked, you can make one reservation for yourself and then copy it to everyone else in your party on the MDE website or app for each day. (I just did it this week for our party of 18.) If people don’t want a ride once you have copied, they can go in and change it to something else after you copy everything. For example, I know my parents won’t go on Space Mountain, so I changed theirs to Jungle Cruise for the same time slot.

The only thing I will caution is to make sure if someone changes times or rides, they make sure they are the only ones checked or they will change everyone. It is pretty simple to do that- the check marks are green and easy to work with.

Thanks everyone....Only question and forgive me for not understanding. When you say "copy" it to another person is this clear, or should i say easily done. Since i am more than 60 days out i can not see what it looks like.

Yes the copy feature is easy to use and self explanatory!

I have screenshots but cannot post them. You want to enter the Fastpass+ menu from the main MDE menu. From there, your options are "select or replace", "change", "copy" or "cancel". Select "copy". It will ask you whose selection you want to copy, so if it is yours, select you. Next it will ask whose it should be copied to, so select the other members of your party. Then you will see a screen confirming that the selections have been copied.

Similar process for people changing rides or times from there- just choose "change", select what you want to change, and choose the people in the party who want the change, leaving everyone else unchecked.

I find it easier to see and do on the website, but it can be done pretty easily on the app as well.

You are most welcome! I have been working on it this week with 18 people in 3 different states. Not an enviable position to be the one who "knows everything" and therefore is stuck planning for everyone!
