FP+ question about rebooking a vacation

Hey everyone,

If we book a vacation for September and pick all of our FP+s and then the FD promotion comes out later this year and we rebook our trip to take advantage of that - do we lose our FP+ selections? or do we get to keep them?

Thanks for your help! So many things are constantly changing that it's hard to keep up sometimes!

If you booked a package you can just add the promotion, or you can change your resort if the one you booked isn't available for the promotion. Shouldn't affect anything. However, the promotions are usually announced long before the 60 day mark.

Right, I was thinking the booking window was further out than that - forgot it's only 60 days out.

As long as your dates are not changing, you can just add the promotion to the existing reservation. Remember that in order to qualify you need to purchase park tickets with the package. I only mention in case you planned to buy the tickets from a third party vendor.

If the dates change, you may be required to rebook and could lose the reservations, but I'm pretty sure that if you make the change over the phone with a CM they can change only what is needed and the other reservations would stay. We made a few changes last October and it did not effect our FP+ or ADR reservations on the days that were the same, we only lost the ones on the days we changed.
