FP not working on MDE.

There's no point in staying on hold, they know the system is down, they're working on, they do not know the cause of the problem, or when it might be resolved.
 
Just got off the phone with Disney. IT reported the whole FP system is down so even they are unable to make FPs. Will have to keep waiting for the system to come back up. Good luck everyone!
 
Has anyone ever used their phone to make all their reservations on? Is it too complex for a multi day trip? It's not ideal, but at least when I could check in, and TRY to get what my husband and kids want sooner than I could having to wait until tonight.
You cannot make FP on ANY device -- the CM can't make FP either.
 
I just got through and the CM told me the same thing...all systems down and no clue when they will be back up. At least we are all waiting together. good luck guys
 

So what are you all going to do? It's bad enough to wait at the computer for the moment the FP window opens but what do we do now? I have to work! I cannot stare at a screen all day :( :( :(

It's staggering, isn't it? In a world where the Amazon and Google platforms exist, why do high end companies (American Girl, Disney, Hanna Andersson, I'm looking at you) have consistently horrible tech???

Being that they looked to outsource it, their mentality on IT is clearly "make it cheap". That allows for things such as this to happen when they don't go over the top for robustness. I'm sure every year Amazon gets slammed 1000x worse on Prime Day and the entire system doesn't crash like this.
 
How is this acceptable? Sitting waiting for the 6:00 cst magic moment. The "checking for FP+ plans" icon just keeps cycling. Called at one minute past and am still on hold. WHY!?!
Many reporting same over several forums/chats. Hang in there. Refresh. Make sure cookies are off.

Keep checking the app! Hopefully, it will be easier to check from your phone at work then the computer! From the app I would book the "have to's" and then do the rest at the computer or when you get home.

So you can't even use the MDE app to make FP on? It looked like you could...

Right now you can not, but once they fix whatever it is, you can.
 
I just spoke with Disney, they immediately answered with we know that we are having problems, we woke up like this and are working as fast as they could to fix it. Hopfully it's pretty fast!!

Same here!! 6:45 a.m. and nothing. That's ok, I'll just skip work :( Agree, unacceptable
 
Agree with all the comments regarding the money spent to do a vacation and this. I have work to get to, daughter to get to school etc.

Ahhh!! THank you!! Yes, that's my plan, at least get SOMETHING for the must haves, then can modify them later!!

I'm wondering, if the whole thing is down, if that's effecting people in the parts right now, if so, I'm sure they are going to have it up as soon as they can, because otherwise that's really going to play havoc on breakfast plans and etc.
