FP not able to get :(

Today is my 60 day mark to assign fast passes. I stayed up and got on the site exactly at midnight. The Elsa (Frozen) fast passes were gone for each day of my Sept vacation. How does that happen? I dont understand how they could no longer be available at 12:01. I'm so upset
Any insight?

I am so sorry. This was my exact experience as well. I FINALLY was lucky with splittng up my group on our last day based on Kenny The Pirate tips. (IE instead of ALL 5 of us going at certain time, I did Fast passes for 2 of us from 9-10, then another set for the rest of the 3 for 920-1020, at times that overlapped so essentially, we still go together at 920). If your group is not too big, I suggest you going right now and trying that as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, with the reduced hours at MK for the halloween party and insane popularity, A&E is proving very difficult to get. The advice above about splitting the group is very good advice. I feel your pain--my 60-day window doesn't open up for another 2 days yet the A&E allocation for groups of 4 are already gone for all 5 days of my trip!

Their gone because it's the most popular FP to get and others were able to book ahead of you even though you were on at midnight.

You can book for your entire trip at your 60 day mark. So those with longer trips benefit better because they can book 60 days+however many days they'll be in the park. So for the days you were picking, some people had probably already picked FP's on those days ago.

Keep checking though as some people cancel FP's and you might be able to grab one

I was shocked last night too! I was only able to snag one on the very last night of our trip. Even primeval whirl had no availability sept 24!

Something is up with PW. Rumor is one side will be closed for refurb so no FP's being issued around that time.

It was only a party of 2. Maybe I'll try for 1 fp and send her in alone (she's old enough).
I have to say I'm a little frustrated with Disney. I think if you go to the trouble of getting on exactly at midnight on the 60th day, you should be able to get the 3 fast passes you wish upon. We vacation every year at WDW - it just gets me mad. It's the only request she had.
Oh well!

At least I was able to grab one Seven Drawfs fp.

I think it also has to do that not many people get through the line .. so simply not as many fast passes available in the course of a given day for it compared to say ... Seven Dwarves Mine Train. There are only two princesses ... who probably take 5 minutes to see just a handful of people.

But it really stinks that you follow the rules and still can't get a FP you want .. simply because people have a slightly longer vacation than you do.

Wow, pretty frustrating. It's just crazy that there already isn't availability for FP's so far out, at midnight. Our 60 day window is coming up soon, and I'm amazed that even at 60days+10 right at midnight some FP's are already gone. I understand the whole overlap with other guests already making FP reservations before our window opens up, but wow. Lovely, lovely FP+

I'd be frustrated too. So sorry you didn't get enough sleep before attending a funeral. I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm convinced they cut back capacity once the calendar moved into the slower season. If that's the case, then that was a choice by Disney I take great issue with. I think it's pretty crummy.

I don't know if there are A&E FP+ Cancellation threads any more, but there were last fall and maybe since availability is becoming an issue again with party season they will pop up again. THey are like the ADR cancellation threads on the restaurant forum. A thread like that was the only way I was able to find a FP+ for A&E last year. I hope a similar thread will help you this year!

I wasn't able to get A&E either last night. I overslept my alarm and didn't log on until 1215 so you do give me some comfort that they were gone at midnight anyway. I was blaming myself for missing that golden 15 minute window. Now I don't feel so bad. Thank you if that helps you any

I agree it's a combination of shorter hours, reduced crowd levels most likely. The bright side is reduced crowd levels could make for shorter standby lines.

If it makes you feel better, I still complain about standing in line to see Buzz n Woody at HS. Every trip, 45 minute lines that never let up. A&E isn't the only long character line- what I wouldn't give for FP+ to be offered there!

Not in our experience. The shorter operating hours on the party days really wrecks havoc with A&E, as people who are shut out of FP+s have no choice but to go SB. On the non-party days, the crowds flock to the MK and A&E's line skyrockets as a result.

OP, we're party-season people, and the only way we've been able to get A&E on all of our trips was by searching for one at a time and using overlapping windows. It takes diligence and frankly, a lot of time. I'm praying that my kids decide to forgo meeting A&E again like they did on our last trip because I don't look forward to spending as much time as is needed to secure A&E FP+s during party season.

i regually go to disney in sept and one side is normally down for refurb

I know it must be frustrating but remember that you can check back and they may become available. Alternatively visit the standby line at park opening. Though you may be waiting a bit longer than you would like, they lines are generally shorter and get much longer throughout the morning. I did this when I was there in June and think we waited 35 minutes.

Keep checking, some may pop-up as your days get closer. Definitely check around the 45 day mark (before and after) as that is the last day to cancel packages at WDW, so if people cancel, that frees up their FP+ selections.

If you click on a specific attraction it will bring up a calender showing availability for that attraction for about 4 months.

Note: availability is based on a group of 4 on this page, so smaller groups may actually be available even though they don't show up as available on the calendar.

Right now it shows availability for 9/26 - don't know if that falls in your vacation time.

I have three A&E FP for the afternoon of the 25th that I might have to let go. I will make a cancellation thread if I do. I was only able to get two completely different times for each half of our group. If I cannot move them around in the next weeks to coincide with each other I am going to release for the three adults who wouldnt be sad missing the kids meet the princesses.
