FP+, Magic Bands, on and off property ??

How would this work??

I'm doing the planning for my family and extended family to visit WDW.

My family will be on Property

My sister and her family will be on property.

My PARENTS will not!! (dad is all about renting a condo)

soo..... How do I book FP's for my parents? Get their bands?

If I'm on property and I'm booking our FP's at the 90 day mark can I add them in to there or is this not going to work??

What a pain I just want dad to do what he is told...

1. Those with onsite stays and tickets will be able to book FP at 60 days (not 90).
2. Those with offsite stays and tickets will be able to book FP at 30 days.
3. Those with onsite stays will automatically get MagicBands shipped to them.
4. Those with offsite stays will have to purchase them in a park or resort.

So if they are offsite and don't want to purchase bands then they will be issued a card right?

When can the offsite guest get their tickets? Can they be picked up the day before so were are not messing around at the park with tickets and such?

1. Yep. For now, RFID cards and MBs do the same thing. There are rumors that at some point, "extra magic" of some sort will be unlocked at various attractions by MBs.

3. Yes, of course. Tickets, once purchased, are good forever until first used.

One more thing to just check is that we are in Canada so that means that we have to pick up our bands at the resort still right?? they aren't being shipped... Also can I give my parents my Old magic bands from a previous trip to use??

That's my understanding. I know they aren't shipped internationally, and I believe instead they send your MBs to meet you at your resort.

Bands are not transferrable, they will be linked to your MDE account.
