What is up with all of these lines?

What is the diff between Single and Standby?

Thanks!

In the single's line you fill up space when there aren't enough people in a group to fill all of the seats on the ride. It's usually faster than the regular line. If you do single rider you will likely be split up from any other members of your party that are also in the line.

I believe there are singles lines only at M:S and TT. The standby line is the same as the regular line. The Fast Pass line is just that: the line you use to get on the ride when your FP return window has opened.

DH and I did single line at TT and it was definitely worth not having to wait the 60+ minutes of the standby line!

Fast Pass line is obviously for those people holding fast passes.

Singles line is for lone riders or riders who don't mind being split up to fill in single seats that are available.

Standby line and regular line are the same thing. The people in the standby line are "standing by" until seats become available.

"What's up" with all the lines is that different lines are needed for different things! It's really no different than being in line at a show or concert. You have your standby line, your will call line, your comp line ....
