FP kiosk questions

After our three FPs for the day have been used up, how does the process of obtaining FPs at a kiosk for my party of 6 work? Specifically....

1) Does each individual of my party only manage their own FP selections or can each individual manage all FPs for the group?

2) If our group is currently split up at the moment can I obtain FPs for an attraction for all 6 of us with the same start time? Or do we all need to be present at the kiosk to make FP selections?

3) Same question as #2 but can I individualize FP selections for my party members? For this example, suppose I am done eating dinner but my family is not. While they finish up their meal can I walk to a FP kiosk and get FPs for three party members going on Ride 1 and FPs for the other three party members going on Ride 2. If so, do I need their bands?

4) From what I understand FPs cannot be made with the MDE mobile app, only the FP times can be modified, correct? Does this apply only to the FP reservations made in advance with MDE? Or can I modify FP times that I selected at a kiosk?

5) Are there typically lines at kiosks? What about specific times like early in the morning?

6) On one day we are doing a AK/DHS park hop. Half my party has FPs for AK (because they are not going to hop) and the other half has FPs for DHS (for after dinner). Does this mean that for the duration of our stay at AK the party that is hopping to DHS cannot obtain any FPs at AK kiosks? If so, that really stinks.

1) One person can get add'l FP+ for the whole group, if wanted.
2) All members need not be present.
3) Yes, you can CHOOSE for whom to make the FP+.
4a) Correct.
4b) Nope.
4c) Yes.
5) Completely unpredictable. Can be "no wait" up to 15 minutes or more, depending on, well EVERYTHING.
6a) Yup.
6b) Yup.

Great, so basically I only need to swipe my MB and can make/modify FPs for anyone in my party for any attraction provided they are FP-eligible at the moment. And if I were indisposed at the moment my wife or anyone else in my party can do the same with their MB. Does that sum it up?

I'm really bummed about the fact that I can't get FPs at AK, even at the kiosk. That means all 6 of us have to go on standby lines in order to ride anything together.

It really doesn't make sense to park hop anymore UNLESS everyone in your group is following the same itinerary for the day.
