First it was my account, that's fixed. Now I'm actually trying to schedule these things and it's stressing me out! How do I know what I will really need a fast pass for? Am I running from one end of the park to the other?
Anyone say forget this and just not book any fast passes?

I experienced that too! :). After I spent hours and hours tweaking everything, when we got to the parks my party wanted to change everything anyway. :rotfl: luckily, it was October and we had quite a bit of flexibility.

Things that did work:

Arrival day evening FPs.
We had breakfast at Tusker House so it made sense to book the safari next door.

We booked an evening at MK and scheduled one for wishes. I liked that.

Otherwise, nothing else worked for me. We don't book a lot of dining slots, so without that it makes it difficult to guess. Plus we like to hop around a lot.

If you are not hopping, and you have an idea of the best park for each day you could start there. It is tough.

Let me say that I NEVER said it, but I sure thought about it a few times.

I admit that when I would read posts here on the DisBoards about others having issues with MDE and FP+, I though "'Eh, they must not be very comfortable with technology." Oh boy, I take it all back!!!

I made a reservation for 2 rooms (1 for DH and I--the other for DD, DSIL and the DGkids.) The full deal, room, DP and Park tix. On MDE, DH and my tickets didn't show.(That was the first call to IT) Also, when we tried to link the two rooms, only my info would transfer--not DH's.(This was the second call to my friends at WDW IT--) I will say that the IT support people have been very helpful; BUT it has taken hours of working thru these issues just to be able to make FP+ requests. When we first couldn't link successfully, we sat side by side with our IPads and requested FP simultaneously and we both would get widely divergent times. We now have FP's done for our 8 night trip but it was painful getting there. And this is two technically saavy people working thru the MDE site. No wonder people are stressed!!!

I went through it all yesterday...and mesa's link is helpful. The other piece of advice is schedule you FP's for the afternoon when crowds will be at their peak. The way I tried to set up my schedule was to plan for one or two must see attractions in the AM...the schedule the rest of my must sees using FP in the afternoon. Then I plan to work in other attractions throughout the day based on wait times and where we are in the park. It is definitely worth keeping a park map handy to make sure there's some method to the touring madness.

Having a map handy is a good idea.

The other thing that frustrated me was trying to get the right sequence to show. For the safari, I needed 12:00, but kept getting my second and third choices showing up at noon. So I had to take what the app gave me, and then move all three to the evening, and then re schedule them back to the time I needed.

Hopefully - this will be fixed with updates.

I am so not looking forward to reserving these fast passes...this is not how we vacation....

One simple piece of advice I would give is to book something as soon as your 60 day window opens up. It's a no lose proposition.

If you decide you want to change anything or everything sometime later, you can always cancel what you have and try to book something else, which is no worse than if you hadn't done anything in the first place.

Thanks everyone! Glad I'm not the only one stressing about this!
I have used mesas list and it was very helpful!
We are hoppers, so I basically pick one park for the morning and then use the FP when we hop for the afternoon/evening.
Josh's calendar says our week is 4 and 5 crowd levels so I'm hoping for a lot of flexibility and I'm hoping we won't even need them most of the time.
Thanks again:-)
