FP+ if I switch late from resort to Dolphin?

We are trying to get enough points to stay at the Dolphin for free at the end of March. We should have the points sometime in February. We currently have a stay booked at Wilderness Lodge (tickets are separate). We also have a stay booked at the Dolphin. We will cancel Dolphin if we don't get the points and plan to move our Wilderness Lodge reservation to a December weekend if we have a chance to stay in March for free.

What will happen to FP+ if I make them at 60 days out and move resort stay to December? I know that Dolphin also allows you to book FP+ at 60 days, so I don't feel like I would be cheating the system. Do I link my Dolphin stay right now too, or will the same dates for the same people at different resorts confuse the system? TIA for any advice!!

Nothing will happen so long as your tickets and Dolphin stay are linked.
