FP+ Frustration

To be fair - Disney does have free wifi and most hotels offer it now too.

So? An international traveler must still obtain some kind of data plan to use the free wifi.

Nope! You just connect to the wifi like you would anywhere else. If you want to have access to data outside a free wifi zone, then you need a data plan. But if you're in the park, you just connect. Speaking as an "international traveler"

And this is one of the biggest frustrations, indeed why the poster upset about WDW changing the opening time was so rightfully upset.

Its completely unfair to ask people who often start booking trips a year out, have to book ADRs at 180, FPs at 60 and then be paid in full at 45 ... to then change what you have told them would be available days before the trip, or day of the trip ... etc ?

Launch last minute tests etc (like offering FP only on some attractions) without notice ...

I think to be happiest using this new system, you have to be willing to plan very far ahead AND be totally flexible when those plans fall apart for whatever reason....

Whether it's Disney changing their hours or launching a test, someone gets sick when you are there, bad weather, anything.

I agree, as you said, this is the source of a lot of the frustration.

Hopefully down the road they'll get this working the way it should. May take a couple of yrs though. I have no intention of continuing to be a guinea pig in the meantime. That said, if we decide to do another Disney holiday I may contact you for ideas about California...I've read your posts and it sounds like you have those parks down pat, whereas we haven't been in about 20 yrs

My feelings exactly! I am willing to wait until WDW is done testing and tinkering and I hear and see that the FP+ system is working on a consistent and acceptable matter so that my vacation experience will be enjoyable. Until then, DLR is my Disney vacation destination.
