FP for shows question

Trying to figure out what FPs we will hope to get. We're going end of Apr to DHS and I'm trying to figure out our third FP. I'm hoping to get TSM and then in the 2nd tier Star Tours and ??? What does the FP for the shows get you? A good seat or just guaranteed a spot? We've gone in May before and I've never had a problem getting into any show at DHS. But we've never been to the Frozen show and I'm wondering if I should do that for FP or not get a third and hope to get another TSM or Star Tours when we finish the 2. Any help/experience is appreciated. Thanks!

I went there first but didn't see the answer to my questions so came here looking for advice/experience. I didn't go through all 112 pages though. Just the first several. Maybe I missed it.

The first couple of posts have info on how all FPs work, including general info on how each show works and the relative worth of FPs at each park. It is often not necessary to read beyond those.
