Getting ready to book fastpasses. We will be at MK at rope drop on July 6. Planning on heading right to pp flight Do you think there will be a long wait. Hoping to save my FP for the 7 dwarfs ride instead of using it on ppflight. Already have my other Fp planned just deciding whether there will be a shorter wait for pp flight or 7. Mines at rope drop

I can't imagine that the new ride wouldn't be more popular, but it might depend on how quickly the coaster loads new people. Peter Pan loads pretty slowly.

I'm going mid-June and that was the big question at the crux of our MK day planning. Ultimately, we've decided on an early morning FP+ for SDME. We're going to arrive at RD and head straight to Peter Pan to ride SB on our way to SDME.

PP during the first 30 minutes of park opening isn't that bad. Once the line builds it sticks. But it isn't the very first thing that people run to. And with the moving of A&E to the MK and the opening of the 7DMT, much of the demographic that covets PP will have other popular choices to run to first thing at RD. With people heading for princesses, SM, SpM, BTMRR, 7DMT, A&E, Dumbo and ETWB, Peter Pan becomes "just another ride" for the first 30 minutes to an hour. If you go at RD, it will be a walk on.

Agree with PPs, however be mindful of the spill-over effect:
With the RD stampede headed to A&E and, presumably, 7DMT, there will probably be more guests in the area of Peter Pan early in the morning. Perhaps people who tried to get to A&E early, but saw the lines were too long to bother and then head to Pan instead.

I'm not sure what your other FPs are for the day, but I would suggest avoiding the RD crowd in Fantasyland and doing BTMRR and Splash immediately using standby. You can save your FP+ for Pan, 7DMT and Space MT. Anything else would essentially be a walk-on until 10:30.

There will be a crushing RD to 7DMT everyday for the next several months until a large chunk of repeat visitors start to back off and move on to other things.

You have a few choices:

1) Do 7DMT at RD and then use FP again later to ride twice in one day, riding PP #2.

2) Do PP at RD and FP 7D for later. But, if I did this I wouldn't do an early morning FP for it. I would do PP and lots and lots of other rides in Fantasyland while the people eater lines for 7D and A&E keep ALL the other lines in FL short. Later, when ALL the line rides are long I would use my 7D FP. Without the ride open it's hard to tell exactly but I wouldn't have a FP before say 11am, and be ready to bolt FL after the FP.

If you decide to do PP at RD, I would head to Liberty Square from the hub and make a hard right keeping Haunted Mansion on your left. This will have you entering the "back" side of FL and closer to PP, which will be on your right. This way you can avoid that crushing RD crowd I mention earlier, they will take a different route to 7D and A&E.

Thanks for this - this is now my plan precisely!
