This might be somewhere on here already I'm sure, but what it the current situation?
We're staying onsite (DVC) but it looks like when I go into MDE, I can only book 30 days out?

Does anyone know the latest buzz on this?

Thanks!

Is your resort stay linked to your MDE account?

Resort guests can book 60 days out, passholders without a resort reservation can book 30.

I don't know about today - but I am staying at Beach Club Villas. My 60 day window started yesterday - and I set up reservations for FP+ yesterday.

If that changed since then, I don't know - but I have been modifying all day!

exactly!

As a side note we have APs (linked to MDE) - our 60 day mark was Saturday and we are staying onsite. On Friday I could only book 30 days out - magically Saturday morning (I started around 8 am) I could book 60 days + (could book for our whole trip).

Yes, it is...so now I'm worried....who should I call because shouldn't the calendar be showing more days etc.?

I'll be at 60 days in 5 days..should I wait or get it sorted out now? It was showing 60 days for me up until like last week or so....

And our trip this past December was 60...

That is because until last week AP holders could book 60 days out....now, they can only book 30.

So, when you hit 60 days, as long as your resort stay is linked to MDE and you have tickets linked as well, you will be able to book at 60 days.

http://www.easywdw.com/news/magicbands-available-to-all-u-s-based-walt-disney-world-annual-passholders-booking-window-cut-to-30-days/

All Annual Passholders that have their Passes connected to their My Disney Experience accounts may now customize and order complimentary MagicBands. This includes Passholders that have received MagicBands as part of a previous resort stay. I apparently have three Bands already attached to my account, in addition to a dozen or more I’ve picked up from various resort stays over the last few months, and Disney invited me to order another after logging in and visiting https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan/bands-cards/. MagicBands will ship alongside a new gold or black discount card depending on the type of pass. Gold cards indicate eligibility for free parking, while black cards require guests to pay. To obtain free parking, Passholders can scan their new MagicBands, use the RFID Pass they already carry, or use the discount card. To receive discounts elsewhere on property, guests either show the discount card and a photo ID or the Annual Pass and a photo ID.This seems to render the discount card useless, but Disney notes that the discount card “is the only Passholder media that includes the Guest’s name and the expiration date of the Pass, making it the best means of verification for discounts. It is not RF-enabled and it does not contain a magnetic strip.” That doesn’t seem very compelling.

In addition, Annual Passholders can now only book FP+ 30 days in advance, instead of the 60 days they used to enjoy. Up to seven days of FP+ reservations can be made at any given time on a 30-day rolling window. Keep in mind that Passholders with an on-site reservation linked with their My Disney Experience will be able to book up to 60 days in advance of the check-in date for up to seven days or for the length of stay if it’s longer than seven days.

Only guests staying on-site can add charging privileges to their MagicBands.

Disney is still not shipping MagicBands outside of the United States. There is no will call pickup location for Passholders with shipping addresses outside the country to pick up their MagicBands upon arriving at Walt Disney World. These guests will continue to use their RFID Annual Passes.

I suspect that the MYW ticket booking window for FP+ may be the same as for Annual Passholders (30 days) until you are 60 days out from check-in at a Disney owned and operated resort.

I never said I had AP's though....

If you have a resort reservation and tickets linked to your account, you can book 60 days prior to arrival starting at midnight eastern time.

Right that's what I thought, but that's not what it's showing...I'm on the phone with them now (on hold) , going to see what they say, cause I'm not taking the chance (actually it's 4 days LOL) when I got to make my selections.

You said you are 65 days from check-in. Once you reach 60, you will be able to book FP+ for your on-site days. Until that time, you can only book up to 30 days out.

Because you are not within your 60 day window. Once you are, you will be able to book. Same thing if you try and book an ADR outside of your 180+ day window.

Yeah, it's just weird, cause up until last week it was showing up to like May 10th for FP+....

And now it just shows up to April 16th.

I called them and they said it shouldn't show that way and they are working on it. They've had a number of calls already.

It was changed last week. It's 60 days from your resort check-in. If no resort reservation, it's 30 days.

Today (March 17) is 60 days for May 16 check-in. Because March has 31 days, it's not the same day of the month.

Wondering how this turned out for you. I am having the same issue - fp+ shows availability 30 days out but not for 60 days out (even though I have a dvc resort hotel reservation linked). Does it magically switch when you are at your 60 days or do I need to call?

Your FP+ booking window will expand to 60 days and include all days of your reservation once you are 60 days from check-in. Until that time, your booking window will be the same as any day guest (30 days).
