We are planning a trip to WDW for the first week of May. We will be at HS on May 5. It will be me, DH and my 2 DD who are 5 year old twins. I reserved our FP+ for TSM and Frozen Sing-A-long. I am debating on the 3rd one. I had originally planned it for ToT, but I don't think my girls will want to go on it. They meet the height restriction, and love thrill rides, but they are scared of the dark, ghosts, lightning. So I thought about Star Tours, but it seems to be pretty dark and intense too. My DH and I are interested in going on both rides, and don't mind going alone, so rider swap for Star Tours would work fine. But from my understanding, even with rider swap, you still have to go through the preshow on ToT, which I think will scare my kids. So, my question is, should I go ahead and get FP+ for DH and I for ToT so we don't have to take the girls through the preshow? Or should I try to schedule something else that's more family friendly (Little Mermaid) for us all using the 3rd FP+.

I would get TOT for 2 of you, and Star Tours for 2 of you. You and your husband could use all of them.

I have to say, though, that I really can't imagine Star tours being too scary, but you know your kids.

Non- riders do not enter the queue. Rider switch passes are given at the entrance outside the ride for TOT.

My child, who dislikes the dark in general and most 'dark rides', prefers ToT to Star Tours.
