FP for guests purchasing tickets at gate

We are planning on purchasing tickets when we arrive. In order to use FP do we need to establish an account on My Disney Experience before we go? Thanks

If you have MDE when you get your tickets then you should be able to link them and make your FP+s from your account. If not then you will have to go to the kiosk.
