FP+ for Fantasmic

How does FP+ work for Fantasmic? Is it a better idea to do this than the Dinner package? Would be paying for dinner package as opposed to using dining plan, thinking maybe FP+ would be better?

Also, will we miss out if we do not book FP+ in advance and wait till we are down there?

How do we find out the restrictions? ( can't do Soarin' and Test Track?)
