Is the FP+ area for the Electrical Parade still in front of the castle?

And after the Electrical Parade ends (scheduled at 9, so 9:30 ending?), would we be able to get to the FP+ area for Wishes in time to catch Celebrate the Magic projection show and then Wishes?

Will we be swimming upstream on Main Street to get this done? Any better route?

And where exactly are the FP+ entrance areas for Wishes? I know there is a East & West side.

Thanks!

1. No. Current parade FP+ area is in Town Square, near the entrance to MK.

2. If you are careful and don't miss your timing.
Watch as the parade ends. Move immediately into the street and FOLLOW the end of the parade
down Main St. until you are near the Hub. Then, make your way to either Wishes FP+ area.

Will that be easy? No. But, it will be possible.

3. No. It will be "swimming DOWNstream" (WITH the parade and crowd, not against them.)

Last month, I watched Wishes and Celebrate from the East viewing area. Then I made my way to Town Square to catch MSEP from that viewing area. It was the 2nd parade, but it worked well for me.

We did this last night and saw everything. We watched MSEP from the FP+ area. We stood along the fence facing the Train Station and had a great view. We then followed the end of the parade around until we were in front of Tony's then went up the new side street. We beat the parade to the hub and settled in along the fence in front of the Plaza as MSEP rounded the hub. We had a great view of both Celebrate the Magic and Wishes from there.image.jpg

Can you please verify the FP+ viewing areas for Wishes (Hub - east and west) and Electric Parade (Town Square) are the same as shown above? If so, could we get FP+ for Wishes and enter early and watch the Electric Parade from this location on the hub facing Main Street, too? Is it already blocked off for the parade? If anyone has done this and can provide experiences of crowds, views, etc. that would be very helpful. We will be there in March and are getting ready to book our fastpasses in a few weeks. Thanks for the help!

From what I've heard on the boards, yes, you can see the MSEP from the Wishes FP+ area, and will be able to get in early enough to see the parade. What people seem to disagree on is how good of a view it is. Some people find it acceptable while others do not.

We're looking at doing both of these FPs as well! Interested in hearing everyone's experiences!

Does anyone have a newer map or photo that shows the newer side street that was mentioned?

Image above shows the Town Square entrance/exit from the "backstage walkway."
(Purple line.)

Image below is the LOCATION of the "backstage walkway." It does not depict the current LOOK
of the alley (which is now decorated to shield the parking lot from guests' view and make the walkway much more park-like.)

Robo's second map here shows the location. It's now been walled off from the parking lot and lightly themed to be a back alley basically but it certainly speeds up the journey.

Really helpful. Now that I see it on the map I realize we walked it a couple of years ago while exiting Tomorrowland after Wishes had begun. I didn't make the connection. Thanks!

Nice to hear they've spruced it up a bit with some theming. It was pretty bare bones.

We are going to try this in late Feb. I booked our FP+ last night and got the 8:00 MSEP and then Wishes FP+ for right after. Thanks for the strategies on how to make it work. We love the MSEP but have never really stayed for Wishes before. DH detests the crowds but tolerates it for the rest of our sakes and I'm hoping that having the FP+ for the FOF Parade, MSEP, and Wishes will help with that.
