FP+ For BOG LUNCH in May is NOW OPEN!

a few people have reported that they were able to make a 2nd BOG FP+ after they used the first; they had to wait until the day after they used the first one. Might be worth a try.

This. We ended up eating at BoG three times during our two week vacation in March. I tried making a second FP+ there before we used our first one, and I couldn't do it - it would only let me swap the first one for another choice. But the day after the first BoG FP+ had been used, I could make another one for a couple days later.

OK. This is what worries me - I can go on and select again and again. There is no "old" one to modify. I have tried various times, I have tried different computers, etc. I go in, I get the confirmation and then that is it - nothing. I go in again and can book again for the same time (or different time) with no problems.

Darn, does not look like mine is going to work :(
 

So, am I understanding this correctly, that the FPs open up ~ one month before the month you're trying to book? So, for a table in June, fast passes will be available starting ~May 1?

I can log on and get through the process of selecting party members and date (June 8), but it says no FPs are available. Just want to confirm that this is because they aren't released yet.

Does anyone have any idea why they don't just handle reservations through Disney Dining, like everything else? I understand not accepting reservations for quick service, but it's way too confusing to "kind-of-sort-of" accept reservations through a completely different site, but call them Fast Passes even though they're not really Fast Passes. So backwards.
 
Thank you so much for posting this. I had been trying but could not figure out what reservation number to use. I must have looked past the one I needed a hundred times!

Now we have a nice lunch planned for our first day of our vacation.

This is what's happening to me too. The options to View or Modify or Cancel are all grayed out. I can only Select or Replace a reservation and if I do that I can only select a new reservation. Its like the reservation I just made doesn't exist.

I will keep you posted, but I am a little concerned :( Oh well, it is not a must do for us, we really wanted to do it, but we do not "have to". I guess I will head to CHH as a back up!

Me too:) I got lunch for our last day :cool1:

I didn't pre order the food because I want to ask my husband what he might like. Do we have to pay for the food ahead of time?

We also snagged one for our last day in the parks -- May 15th at 12:25pm!! So excited!!

No, you don't have to pay for your food ahead of time if you do pre-order. It does tell you how much your bill will be...which is a nice feature!

1. Lunch vs. Dinner. Menus are quite different, but which one has the better value? (as in, lunch seems like a great way to do BOG... but is dinner THAT much better to warrant the huge price difference?)

2. Is there any penalty to missing the lunch FP+? Of course, my intention is to cancel if we aren't going to use it, but it didn't ask for a credit card guarantee like table service ADRs.

Lunch is one QS credit.
Dinner is one TS credit.

If you are not able to make your arrival window, please cancel your reservation on the website at https://BeOurGuestLunch.disney.go.com Guests are still able to enjoy a meal at Be Our Guest Restaurant in the standby line.

If I need to cancel my arrival window is there a fee?
No, Guests who need to cancel their arrival window will not charged a cancellation fee.
 
A million thanks for posting this. I have tried every day to secure a FP+ at BOG for my trip in May. I was away yesterday, and saw this post when I got home. I logged in.....and got a FP+ for May 13. I hated the times, but based on everyone's comments, I went back in, and was able to get a later time.....1:45-2:15 (which I am assuming is the latest since they close lunch at 2:30. This board is the best!!!!!!

Now......what are some recommendations for food?

Help please! I'm going to disney may 3-10 and when I log on the site I can only make reservations till April 10. There's no where to enter my reservation number for my trip either. Tia
 
Thanks so much for posting. I was able to get a ressie for our arrival day at 1:50. If by chance our flight is delayed or we aren't able to get to our reservation... is there a penalty? I didn't have to give a credit card or anything but just want to be sure.

To modify, you should be able to log back into the site. There will be 4 links, one is to modify.

You will not get a confirmation number, or an email confirmation. And it will not display in MDE as a FP+ or as an ADR.
