FP+ Fail--So Aggravated!

Up before the sun to make my FP+ since my window opened today--60 days! Sign in to MDE only to find the window is shut and locked. :headache::headache: I can only see until April 10 even though I am able to do online check in. I then tried the app with the same disappointing results. Not a happy start to my Sunday.:sad2:

Same here. Hopefully at 8:00!

The only thing that I can think of is perhaps Disney forgot to "Spring Ahead". I would try again. If it is still not working, call.
 
That sucks. Remember it is DST so that may affect when the window really opened.
 

It happened to everyone including myself this morning.
Disney clearly didn't "spring ahead".
I figured it out pretty quickly and went back to bed for an hour.
Yes it was annoying but nothing to get terribly upset about.
btw I have the 30 day rolling window since I'm staying offsite so I had to get up yeterday, today, and will have to on Tuesday.
Be happy you got it all done today with the perk of staying onsite.
 
This happened to me as well. I was so upset to be getting up so early here in California and not able to do anything until 5am PST. So upset because I was hoping if I got online just as the clocks turned to 4am that I would get early enough FP's that I would be able to get my 4th FP for Fantasmic as according to Touring plans I will have to get the 4th by 4pm which is now not happening with the plan I have. I didn't get to see it on my last trip and now won't get to see it again. I tried calling Disney only to be on hold for 45 minutes and had to hang up to go to work. By the time I got off of work of course Disney just closed for the day. I am beyond upset and completely exhausted. I guess I will have to call on my lunch hour tomorrow. So, unfair to us West Coasters!

You are going to call for what reason?
Just to complain?
It's not worth getting quite that worked up over in my opinion.
It happened to everyone so at least you weren't alone.
I'd suggest trying to modify your times.
I didn't get everything at the exact time I had wanted but one hour wasn't going to change that since no one had the upper hand.

I can't make any other adjustments to my plan. I want to call to let them know how difficult their uber planning effects others. If no one ever speaks up then nothing is ever done about it. Its hard enough making ADR's months in advance without knowing park hours and then having to schedule FP's 60 days in advance again w/o knowing park hours is just really difficult. This is just my personal opinion that some may or may not agree with. I guess I should just stick with DL as it is my preferred touring style with less planning required.

Something in writing would get you farther than speaking to a phone CM.
Email them. You will likely get a response. It likely will do no good just as calling would do no good but if you want your voice heard that is the better option.
I'm fine with picking a parking 6 months out and choosing my ADR's 180 days our, and booking FP+ 60 days out myself.

I did that and was able to get more suitable times for my plan that day.

Your right emailing is a good idea. I will do this. Thanks! Some don't mind the uber planning. Where I'm from our life is nothing but uber scheduling. Vacationing for me is to get away from that. Everyone's life is different and everyone's preference is diffrent.

lol my everyday life is so unplanned. We never know what we are having for dinner until we have to go to the store to get the ingredients. We are all in and out of the house throughout the day doing random things.
When it comes to WDW we like to have a plan so we aren't sitting around wondering what to do next.

This is exactly the opposite of my life. I have two calendars. My office & my personal calendar. They are constantly reminding me of what I have to do everyday. Its exhausting! I don't even have time to cook dinner hardly ever. I eat out constantly, mostly take out. This is why I want the ADR's as a sit down dinner is nice. Well this is how it is when your an accountant living in the Silicon Valley. I think that's why DL has an opposit planning strategy. But WDW has much nicer restaurants. I guess you can't win. I know I'll still have a good vacation no matter what. I mean it's Disney right?
