FP + during Parade at MK

I just secured FP+ for MK (offsite) 30 days for Buzz from 2:40 - 3:40. The time choices were terrible so I took what I could get.

I would like to see the new parade and am traveling w/ extended family. Should I secure a spot for parade and let most of the group ride before the parade. (will the FP+ line be too long and they miss the parade)

OR should we walk (FAST) to Buzz after the parade.

I would never condone trying to secure and save a spot on the parade route for a group while they go off to ride an attraction.

The parade is at 3 pm, so plan to catch it early in Frontierland near Pecos Bill, then just walk through Fantasyland to Tomorrowland for your Buss FP+.

You SHOULD have a grace period of a few minutes after 3:40, but you shouldn't need it.
