FP+, Do I understand correctly?

I looked through the beginning of the mega thread on FP+, but I just want to make sure I didn't misunderstand (you know what they say about those who assume). On the day my FP window opens I can begin making FP+ reservations for the ENTIRE length of our stay, right? So, according to my magnet I can begin selecting our FP+ on June 21. On that day I can make FP+ reservations not only for August 20, but through August 29th (meaning I don't have to wait until June 29th to make selections for August 29th). Did I understand that correctly?
Also, do you guys recommend staying up and starting this at midnight (and is that FL time or my local time zone?) the day that they become available to me? Or would 6 or 7 in the am suffice?
One last question! I'm making the selections for DH and myself. When selecting an attraction will the system give me both our names to select from so I can make all our selections together, or do I have to go and make all my selections first and then make all DHs selections separately? Does that make sense?
Unfamiliar things kinda stress me out! so TIA for your help!!!!

You can make your FP+ choices for each day of your stay beginning on the 60th before your arrival date. You are correct.

You can start making selections at 12:00am EST.

The only FP+ that you would need to choose at 12am is the meet & greet for Anna & Elsa if you want to meet them. Everything else will be fine to choose after you wake up.

And yes, you will have the option for choosing FP+'s for each person in your party. You don't have to do them separately unless you each want a different attraction.
