FP cancellation email!

I just received a FP cancellation for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. They exchanged it for me for Splash MTN for an evening time! We hate Splash MTN and are busy in the evening. WTH is going on? Disney wants us to make FP 60 in advance and then they cancel and change them for us!!!

Someone else had this happen at Epcot. That is ridiculous. I would call and request this be fixed ASAP.

When is it for? It's possible the ride will be closed that day.

OK I just got off the phone...a phone # was included in the email. He could give me BTMR at 9:00 instead of 8:35 so my schedule is ok. I jumped a mile in the air when he answered the phone because it went directly to him. I am very happy with this as it does not interfere with all the other FP, FP for BOG, my son marching in the parade and evening ADR.

Whew! You should all call the number in the email and have them help you get another time if this happens to you. All I could see was the entire day ruined and me trying to find other FP and ADR. By this point I have everything scheduled hour by hour and I stayed up til 2:00 am the other night to get that BOG FP.

Duh! I just realized this!

I had just got done reading that BTMR was going down for refurb when I read this. Oops.

This is definitely what happened to us, except they didn't replace the fastpass - just entirely removed it from our list.
We had a meet and greet for my daughter set for the morning hours; and it was deleted a few days after I had reserved it.
When I called, they couldn't add anything because we then would be losing our SDMT fast passes. So they added a special pass into the system to give it back to us. It's nice to see they are willing to help others out.

This happened to me for illuminations today for the same day of FP. They just deleted it. Planned this night out over 6 months ago got FP at 60 days out... Thanks disney.
