FP+ booking window

Was hoping someone with prior experience could help me out with my FP+ booking window. My family are AP holders and have a split-stay trip at the Pop Century coming up in September.

The first is a room-only stay on 9/7. That reservation is just two days, as the second reservation starts on 9/9 as apart of our Free Dining package (planning to use the 2 day park-hopper tickets towards an AP renewal).

Now if I have researched correctly, I believe that we should be able to book at 60 days prior to the room only stay with our AP tickets, but will the initial FP+ window only allow us to book for those two days of that reservation, or seven days after the check-in date even though that reservation is only technically two days long?

Also, if we have family members down in Orlando that are linked to our MDE account can we begin making FP+ selections for them as well at the 60-day mark? Thought I had read that somewhere but not sure if it is accurate or not?

1. Yes.

2. I don't remember. Too many FP+ rules, and an AP has special, separate restrictions.
EDIT: Since the two resort stays are contiguous, you MIGHT be able to book for
the entire trip at 60 days from the first check-in.
-OR-
It might be that you can book FP+ for the first two days, PLUS the check-out day (if that's a 3rd day)
and THEN, you might be able to book the remaining days for the second resort one-day-at-a-time.
(So many rules.)

3. Yes.
