FYI update. Got in the fastpass line at 5:25. I had to wait a couple of minutes to actually get through the first FP+ checkpoint. I will update when I get on. I am waiting outside right now. Standby wait is 60 minutes.

5:38 and I'm next to board. Line constantly moved. Not bad for the crowd. Especially since Splash Mountain is being refurbed.

13 minutes. Not bad. We were there on an "8" day and took about 19 minutes. 13 is pretty good, but it is not the "no wait at all" that many people try to factor in when comparing the give-and-take of all of this.

Thanks for the data. Nothing beats real world experience to stop the sky from falling or the world from looking all rosy.

Agreed :thumbsup2 This is the kind of stuff that actually helps people plan their trips.

We had about the same experience. We FP'd BTMRR 3 times and never waited more than 25 minutes, usually under 20. But it took us under 10 minutes to get through the outside line every time -- it looks like a long line and takes up a lot of space, but it isn't that bad.

I also got a child swap which said it was good until March 31st. I think it used to be the day of only. That was a nice surprise.

Thanks for the info!

:scared1: That's not very fast.

I can count on one hand the number of times our FP wait was more than 10 minutes during our last seven trips, mostly during mid-summer with large crowds.

So in the new system, I guess getting through the FP line in under 15 minutes is considered good? :)

I think so, because there will always be new people so they'll never totally get rid of that queue before the queue, even if they can make the scanners and the MBs work better. The card swipe is much faster and more reliable though, so if that becomes an option again I can see that speeding things up a lot. I kind of envied those offsite guests that had cards instead of bands.
