FP+ and split stay

Has anyone experienced problems with their FP+ reservations and booking a split stay between resorts?

We're doing CBR for 8 nights then 4 nights at POR. With paid dining plan and 10-day park tix. We haven't booked yet. Is there anything we need to be wary of? I am having nightmares about my FPs disappearing upon checking in the second resort, or some such.

Unless there's a glitch all FP will remain.

The FPs are connected to your MDE and tickets,
and you're not canceling anything.

Thanks Rob, do you mind directing me to one of the lengthy threads? I tried to search for it but well... so much going on.

We're going to pay for the dining plan with hopes it will be offered free in January. Very slim hopes, I know, but I am concerned that switching it to a free plan could wipe us out as well.

I just did this when the Aug FD was offered for Canadians. Originally had a package with DDP, didn't switch resorts or change anything other than applying the FD deal. I had just made FPs a couple of weeks prior and was concerned they'd disappear, but they are still there
